Riley is getting neutered Riley was just dropped off at the vet for his neuter. They said I should hear something about 12:30. He was shaking like a leaf. Mommy will be back to get you Riley. Please be a good boy. |
aaawww riley will do just fine. i will keep him in my thoughts and prayers today. i know it is so difficult to be without them and for them to be without us for any length of time. keep us updated! |
They just called. His blood work is fine so they will be getting started soon. |
It is already over and he will be back to normal tomorrow! |
Awww.... He'll more than likely be up and about tomorrow like nothing ever happened. It was the Hardest for me to keep my Riley from running/jumping. Give him extra hugs & belly rubs from Riley & Me!! :) |
Aww, Riley will do just fine! I feel your pain. I took Maci in to get her pre op blood work done just this morning. Her spay is scheduled for next Tuesday and I am sure I'll be a nervous wreck! Big hugs to you and Riley. I'm sure he'll come home acting like nothing happened... your biggest challenge will be figuring out how to keep him quiet while he recovers. :) |
Tomorrow will be Abby's turn. I know it will be harder for her than Riley. I will have my hands full but it will be over with all at once. Hopefully they will recover fine and I will come out of this still sane. |
So glad all went well for Riley. Happy thoughts going out to Abby. xox Howie will be going in a week Monday. |
I took this week off of work since Abby got her spay on Tuesday and also had to have her baby canines pulled. Max had to go in to get three of his baby canines removed (he got neutered last month before his grown up canines came in). They gave Abby a pain injection and she came home and slept the rest of the day and most of Wednesday. Today - no such luck (LOL). I have been throwing the mini-tennis ball for her for two hours and finally had to tell her it was time for a break. Now she is chewing on a bully stick. But beware - the amount of snuggles and cuddles is almost too great. Abby chose to lay on my chest and Max right against my leg. And then there was the group snuggle on the blanket on the floor at other times. Ah, these guys are so great!! |
I know I guess I will have to stay on the floor with them so they don't jump. That will probably be the hardest part. Keeping them down and settled. |
I took Josie and Jack and had them done same day. Jack was back to normal self next day. Josie took about 7-10 days. And she didn't even try to jump on couch. She was pitiful, like a little ole lady. |
I hope Rileys neuter goes well. When My chachi had it done and came home you couldnt even tell from his behavior that he had been through a surgery. My female had a harder time though and so did my female cats so I think its more difficult on females. I hope Riley recovers well |
Hope he feels better soon. |
Hope all went well! |
Oh - your making me so nervous, our Annie goes in Nov. to have her spay and any teeth pulled. Thinking and praying about Riley. Hope she has a speedy recovery. |
