I ended up having to order my Pet Flys Baby Doe mini carrier from a different vendor but it's here. . . it's here. . . it's HERE!!! YAY! :yay_jump:

Nice looking!! Can't tell but it looks like tooled leather, was it expensive? How big do the carriers come? Sprocket is 12lbs so what you are showing is probably not big enough but it sure looks nice, congrats!!

Oh wow, is that adorable, and it looks like the perfect size, what size did you finally decide upon? It looks so well made and your little baby is adorable!

That is a very very cite bag. It looks made just for yorkies. I love it. I'm still waiting for roxy to be full grown to get her permanent bag. This one is definitely on the list. Thanks for sharing.

The carrier is faux leather and yes it has a tooled effect. I ended up paying a premium as I was only able to find this particular design at a private little pet store. Prior to purchasing with this store (which was a very positive experience as they went above and beyond in customer service) I had a negative experience with a different online pet store (who could use more than a few lessons in customer service). I wanted the Baby Doe design and had a bit of time finding anyone who had one in stock and because of that I ended up paying a premium for the particular design that I wanted.

As for size, Lu is only 3.4 lbs and she fits the mini perfectly but Pet Flys does make three different sizes and I know they make one that would fit a 12 lb dog. They have sizing information on their site along with some photos showing their model dog, Monkey Boy, in all three sizes. Finding a Baby Doe design might be kind of tricky but it's hard to say what some store has sitting around. I found the one I purchased in kind of a roundabout way, so they are still out there but might be tricky to find. Just make sure before you order anything to confirm they do in fact have the product in stock as the Baby Doe is no longer being made. Pet Flys does make several different designs and you can purchase directly from them or from several online vendors. Someone also told me there is a lady here on Yorkietalk that carries Pet Flys. There might even be a pet store in your area that carries them. I saw Pet Flys carriers in a store I was in during a visit to Seattle this summer.

After MUCH deliberation I decided on the mini size for Lu. I had originally wondered about stretch out room but after seeing her in the mini size I can see she would have about drown in a small. I am so thankful for the members here who shared their hands on experiences with their Pet Flys carriers. Having that information was very helpful in deciding size etc.

The carrier seems well made and while I have only had it for a few days, at this point I am impressed.

It's sad that good customer service seems to be hard to come by these days. It's so nice to find a store who has the GOOD old fashion kind of customer service that used to be something that was generously given to all customers.
The bag is very nice, I love the tooled leather look and the animal print lining.

That carrier is so cute. I'd need one for an 8 pounder but I think it would bother my arm to carry her in a carrier.

Your pup is sooooo super cute! I lover her ears & her sweet little face.:D

That is so cute. I haven't seen that one before. I have the wings one in I think the middle size and I can fit all 3 of mine in a pinch.

Good morning! :) Now, that is absolutely gorgeous (and so is your baby!!) now I want one of those, too! Mind you, it would have to be super re-inforced (Harry's a 16 lb-er!) ;)

Digressing a lot - I really wanted a Choke Free harness for Harry, but there was nowhere in the UK I could buy one. Ended up online and going through Freidas Boutique in St.Augustine, Florida. Dee there has been absolutely fantastic, kept in touch and has done everything she possibly could to help (including really reasonable shipping). Very, very impressed with their customer service, too :D Sally + Harry x
