Do fleas burrow at all or just crawl?
 
Someone told me fleas can burrow just like ticks... is this true? They said momma flea burrows then lays eggs. Anyway Harley has a bunch of brown spots on his tummy (applied Revolution Tuesday after finding a flea)... Are these moles or potentially fleas burrowed in that haven't died yet... I'm not sure if this sounds completely ridiculous or not, I've never ever dealt with fleas before. I touched them, and they aren't moving, and feel like a mole, but I supposed a burrowed in bug would feel the same.

I don't remember seeing moles on his belly, but I really could be wrong, I'm so paranoid I hate bugs... you guys must be getting sick of me and all my crazy posts this month.

Fleas don't burrow. You can see the eggs they lay in your dog's hair, and get them out with a flea comb. Fleas' specialty is laying eggs OFF your dog, say, in your furniture, and then they lay dormant until triggered by movement. That's why it can be so tough to get rid of fleas - you get all the fleas off your dog, then you sit on your couch, and more fleas hatch.

I suppose they could be some other type of parasite, but Thor has a bunch of moles on his belly too. :)

Ok good, I let him back in our bedroom last after a bath and realized all these spots on his belly, but they probably are just moles. At this point I'm just very paranoid.

So If I wanna kill these suckers what should be my attack plan?
I have our bed, couch, 1 fabric chair, 1 leather chair (which I don't think they'd lay on would they?, 1 very small carpet, hardwood floors, then the toys and bedding in his room.

Is there anywhere else I should be cleaning? So far, I've washed his bedding and my bedding, I've vacumed the couch and carpet, and washed the hardwood floors in his room. I read an article that said if I'm vacuming to put a flea collar in the vacuum so that if I suck any up they die, so I'm going to do that today). Looking for any and all advice to be rid of these suckers.
