What kind of treats do you give your Yorkie? I want to use treats to "reward" Paisley for good behavior. I have tried a few different ones. She will seem to like one and then the next time she doesn't want it. My Dachshund and Chihuahua love them, but Paisley seems to be very picky. Is there a particular treat or brand of treats you use that your Yorkie loves? |

Carrot sticks, the white part of lettuce leaves (he goes nuts for that), dehydrated sweet potato, tomato (we did most of his training with tomato) banana, apple, peeled cucumber.... My boy will eat pretty much anything. I avoid store bough treats because I don't know what's in them. |

We use a different brand and flavor of quality kibble in a metal container (the clicking lid is important) Ziva isn't always crazy for the actual treat(she has a small appetite) but has learned the importance of "winning" it. |

We use frozen green beans and occasionally I give Natural Balance LID treats (sweet potato and venison) due to Jada's allergies. |

Max is picky also but he seems to like diced chicken and he LOVES sweet potatoe!!! |

Sophie loves carrots, apple (almost any fruit or vegetable) and Mother Hubbard mini treats. Mother Hubbard is all natural and made by Wellness. For "special" incentives she gets a tiny piece of cheese... (her favorite :D)! |

Buddy Biscuits, the really small soft chewy ones, they are really low in fat and I break them into a lot of tiny pieces so one little treat goes a long way. Jackson is picky with his treats and he enjoys these. Or, I'll use little bites of chicken breast (not spiced, no salt, etc) or Cheerios. |

I am kind of nervous to say what I use because so many Yorkies have dietary problems. Thank God none of mine have ever suffered from food allergy or problems that require a special diet. I make home made jerky in my food dehydrator. Beef, turkey, chicken, deer, and fish. I also skin and boil chicken then make tiny pea sized pieces, I freeze and unthaw as needed. Green peas, carrot, green beans, sweet potato are favorites too. I do use raw apples (no seeds please they are poison) and Kosher no dye etc turkey or beef hot dogs cut into tiny tiny pieces. I also use tiny slivers of cheese, bits of hard boiled egg, and plain yogurt. My Yorkies never know what Mama will put in their Kong today. |

My Chloe is odd....she loves variety which is normally a huge "no" "no" for a dog. She loves those milk bones that are all natural made from sweet potatoes. It occupies her time for a while too.... |

Kaos is a simple little boy. He loves his milkbones. I just started buying him the "mini" ones. They are TINY and awesome for reward. :) |

I use pieces of raw baby carrots or her dry kibble as treats. ( I just make sure I give her less in her dish so she doesn't over-eat) I used to use Bil-Jac treats, but don't buy them anymore since she is just as happy with her regular food as a treat! |

Lots of different things here! That's awesome. I haven't tried giving Paisley any veggies. I will try and see if she likes them:) I also make jerky.. deer jerky. Mine has a little bit of a spicey flavor though so I won't give her that. I have given her a little bit of cheese. She loved it, so i thought. After having it a couple times, she just turned her nose up at it too. My mother-in-law said she buys the all natural chiken strip treats for her dogs. She said they come in 5 lb bags. She said Walmart carries them now. Not sure the brand??? |

I give mine Beggin' Littles. They are bacon flavored and mine just love them. |
