19 weeks little girl is humping I was wondering if anyone knows at what age they start humping lol? my little one is humping my other dog i was suprised she is getting spayed next month at six month. could she be older than what i was told? i didnt think she would even do that till later  |
We bought Dudley when he was 3mo. old and he humped his toys. We had him spayed at 6mo. and he still does it to the girls. Kayla is about 6lbs., Lexi (mini schnauzer) both have to put up with him. The vet said it is more about domaniance after they are spayed. Dudley is 4lbs. He really thinks he is a stud. Guess we should have named him Dud the Stud. Anyway, don't be surprised if it keeps on after she is spayed. |
Oh good i was worried a bit lol she is so tinny and only five month i didnt think it would happend so soon i mean its ok but i dont want her to be in heat before her spay. no woories then :) |
Mine have never humped each other but they do hump a stuffed lab puppy. They love it. That is the only thing they hump so I don't correct the behavior. I find it to be funny and cute. They will line up and take turns. |
Ahi tried to hump my leg when she was only 8 weeks old. Yeah it was a dominance thing. She now knows who's boss so no more humping. ;) lol |
Choppa came thru the door humping Shanti at 10 weeks. She let him bite her ears, chew her tail, try to nurse from her but oooh em gee when he tried to hump she lost her cool on him. Never heard so many doggy curse words. Lol. Took a couple days of him trying to hump when het head was turned but he doesn't do it anymore. He was about 2 pounds and she's about 15. He tried to hump on the sly. LOL |
Thank you ladies for all the stories its great. Mia only did it the one time and i called the vet clinic and the vet said excatly what you said its a dominance thing and correct her when she does it lol :) |
lol, Ziggy started humping the day we brought him home!! i think its more of a dominance thing than anything else |
