I'm meeting my friends(breeders) hubby at 5:30 this am to pick her up.. very excited!

lol It's 11pm Hawaii time and i'm sure you're at least 3-4 hours ahead. I wouldn't be able to sleep either. hehe :D

It was 3:23 am when I post it my time. ha ha I can't sleep. I'm over excited. We were not going to get her until Monday, but we all ended up with strep throat. So rather than us make the two hour drive, Johnnye is bringing her to me, well 25 mins from me, as he has a few puppies to deliver in the Tulsa area. So I will leave a lil before five so I can meet him at five thirty am. less than an hour to go before I leave. lol

I took a long nap.lol She was worn out from her trip so we slept for four hours. I am getting ready to post her photos in the pics section! she is SUCH a doll, already pee pad trained and has been playing with her lil toys since she woke from her nap. I have my smile back and a skip in my step, though it was bitter sweet when I first held her I cried for Athena and felt guilty. =( Thank you everyone!

Congratulations on your new fur goddess. I am sure Athena is looking down from Mt Olympus and is happy her mommy has found a new sweetie to comfort her and bring her joy.

Thank you ladies... it has been bitter sweet, she looks so much like athena that I cry just a bit, but it is a mending cry. She has slept on and off all day,so while she is asleep I was napping. Now she is up from a nap and playing with her daddy... who NEVER takes off work, but did tonight.. he says because he didn't feel well..... SURE

Awwwww Congratulations!!! Post pics please!!!! So happy for you! Athena is so happy for you too, she knows you needed another sweet love to make you smile again! Venus was sent from the Gods and Athena just for you! :) Enjoy every moment!
