vet Gizmo is at the vet with the DH getting bloodwork done. :0( |
Hope it comes back ok. I worry every time mine have to go to the vet for anything. |
Is this being done for a particular reason or just to check it? |
Thinking of you & little Gizmo. I hope it's nothing serious :(. |
We went in because he hadn't been eating. Well good news is his bloodwork was great however he had one baby tooth that wad still in and wad coming out gomg a little sideways. The vet thinks it'll come out on its own but we have the option to pull it. Poor monkey man. |

only saw this now, im glad giz is ok.. |
So what does vet say to do about the eating situation? |
Happy to hear Gizmo is ok. Maybe his tooth is the reason he doesn't eat. |
I have a gizmo too, glad it wasnt anything serious!!! |

Aww..i'm glad it's just a tooth and not something more serious. Best wishes on getting that tooth removed. |
Hopefully you have found the problem. But he ate well when first switching him to this new food, so I'd be very surprised if there was much improvement after getting it removed.. He is probably just holding out because he still has hope that something more appealing will land in his dish. After a few days, he will realize that he has one choice only. |
Poor little guy. No wonder he doesn't eat. That's got to hurt. I know when I get an infected tooth it hurts like everything. I can just imagine how he feels. |
Poor little guy. Will be thinking about him on thursday. I hope having tooth removed is all that is needed. let us know how he does Friday. |
Just a little bit of an update. I puree'ed Gizmo's kibble with a little bit of chicken stock and added some of his soft food to it, and he gobbled it up. I looked at his tooth, and I feel guilty. There were times I got really upset and blamed it on him, I mean I know Yorkies are picky and he's probably still going to be picky, but I didn't know he was actually hurting :( I'm a bad Momma. |
