Miss Bryleigh!!!

Most of you do not know that we had a horrible accident last week. I did post it to my GE friends, but not here. Our smallest baby of 3 was little Jordan Rae...She was almost 4 months old. She was running and playing and got caught up in my sons feet. He tripped and tried to catch himself on the countertop, but stepped down in a stumble on little Jordan. He called me hystericle at work...I only work 3 blocks away....I was there in less than a minute, but sweet little Jordan passed away on the way to the vet. She was my 16 year old daughters baby. (and this tragedy happened on my sons 14 year birthday). My daughter was devastated (as were we) and my son.....I cannot even began to describe the pain and GUILT he felt.

I wasnt planning on "replacing" her anytime soon, but the tears from my baby girl were to hard to bear.....so.....

Here is Bryleigh Shae....Our newest addition. She is a Shorkie....She is sooo freaking cute and is a tiny little thing...She weighs a little over a pound and we only let her down if we are all sitting!!! My son is so happy to see his sister with a smile, but refuses to even touch the baby.

After a horrible tragedy...there is a ray of sun. Im hoping our family can move past the terrible thing that happened and move forward with little Bryleigh! Just wanted to share.....

Treasure your babies....hold them close.....you never know when the instant will come they will be taken from you

Oh how sad! But happy too! The new one is super cute, Jordan will be missed but Bryleigh will help keep you smile. Sorry for your loss, luckily puppy kisses are a sure fire way to cheer up.

So sorry to hear about your loss. I hope your son soon finds the confidence to play with the new baby soon. Your new little Bryleigh is so cute! I am sure she will help your family heal in this hard time.

I am so sad to read of Jordan passing. I know that you were all devistated. I hope that this new baby will bring joy to everyone.

Such a bitter sweet situation. Sorry for your lost but happy for your new member. I'm sure your son will get over the guilt once this new little girl makes her way into his heart. :)

Aw so sorry for your terrible loss. Your poor son...I hope this new little bundle will bring him some peace to deal with this terrible accident. This is why they are called "accidents" not "on purposes". I know these little ones are so quick and they get under your feet so fast. We have learned to do the shuffle walk lol.
Your new baby is adorable and I am glad your daughter has a smile on her face. I have a 16 yr old daughter and a 13yr old son. I know the pain you feel when they are sad.

oh how tragic.. im so sorry.. but im so glad that you have this new blessing in your life.. i hope it will help mend the pain yoll must be feeling

Thank you everyone! She is sure keeping our minds off of things! She's a tiny bundle of fire..... I get caught up watching her bounce around playing! We got her a louder bell than we had so we can always keep track of her!

I read your post in the ge... I really had you and your family on my mind. Such a sad accident to have happen to you and to your son. I hope he is doing better and knows it was not his fault!!!

I am also glad you dd is better and the new little furbut helps!!

Sorry to hear about your loss. Accidents happen when you own small dogs that get under your feet. Hope your son is feeling better. Your new baby is a doll. I hape a shorkie also her name is Zoe.

What a cutie!! Our baby Bryleigh is doing fantastic! We got her some toddler socks to make into shirts! Can't find a thing to fit her! Lol
