Fav kennel/crate/ safe keeping place.. I'm getting ready for Venus.. I'm wondering what everyones fav sleeping place for their lil ones are? |
Gizmo absolutely loves his Scooby quilt in between my husband and I. :p |
lol I bet so. That would be a comfy place. But Venus will sleep in her kennel for her safety. She will be too small to be in the bed with us. |
We crated Gizmo for about a month at night, but he er, didn't take to it well....At all. However, when we leave the house he's in the crate safe and sound! |
Ahi loves her Cloud 9 which is right next to my pillow or in her crate with her favorite blankie which is right next to my bed. :D Depends on her mood. :rolleyes: |
I've been thinking of getting the cloud 9 or even making one for her. |
Jo-ann's had a pattern by Simplicity that looked just like the cloud 9 bed that was on sale for $1.99. It can either be sew or no sew, but it was super cute! |
When we brought Louie home he always slept in a x-pen with pee pads food and water and his bed. He was used to it. Now that he is 1yr old he has run of the house but he usually loves to sleep in his cloud 9 bed in the living room or our bedroom or with my daughter. We have just started to not crate him when we are not home for a few hours to see how he does and so far he is doing great no accidents he just usually sleeps in his cloud 9 bed:) |
Ok.. def getting or making the cloud 9 bed. Do you have the line for the pattern? |

I have four Yorkies. Abba & Ginny Joy always sleep in their crates, they are 5 months old. Gracie is 2 yrs old & sleeps with me. Rubin is 8 yrs where ever he wants to. Sometimes he sleeps on my bed, on the sofa , in his crate or on his cedar chip pillow. Lily our Lab sleeps on the floor by the french doors. |
When Callie was a puppy she slept in a crate in my room with a blankie over all but one of the sides, then when she was potty trained we got rid of the crate (took it outside to the shed) because she hated it so bad and put a big comfy pillow under my desk but that didnt work for long because I was sooooo afraid that even in a night gown she was going to get cold because I keep my ceiling fan on all the time and my room can be a little chilly so I found a soft sided dog house and she loved it, so we eventually upgraded to a pretty and slightly bigger one and I bought a nice thick crate pad that fits in there and she loves it and sleeps in there every night about 2 feet from my bed. In the living room she loves to sleep in her cloud 9 bed during the day and when my moms yorkie comes over he loves to sleep in it too. |
