so angry at previous owners! Well i don't know where to start! Forgive me, but i really feel the need to rant.... As you know, we rescued Bart from a rescue centre, yes they told us he had bad teeth, but he had been vet checked and all they needed was a clean and a few dentastix. Well, he has just come out of surgery and has had to have several teeth out and they were "as bad as they can get"! Rang the kennels we got him of, only for them to deny ever saying he had been vet checked! grrrrrrrrrrr It answers my question as to why the previous owners abandoned him though, and people like that should NOT be allowed to own a pet if they can't afford the vet bills! I have only had Mr Bart for 7 days, and I dont give a dam how much he costs me! How people can blatantly lie to my face about him seeing a vet, and then to deny it on the phone, and for his previous owners to let him get this bad is beyond me.... He has been at the vet's since first thing, and I can't wait to pick him and hug him.... I could cry i'm so angry......... |
Ahhhh, poor little Bart. People can be horrible. I am just glad he has you to love and take care of him now. Sounds like he will be well taken care of and will have a good and loving home. Bless you. |
Poor Bart. I imagine he will be feeling much better soon, now that he is getting the care he deserves. |
So happy for Bart that he has you now. Poor little fellow, getting dental work done is not fun. Hope he feels better soon. |
Poor Bart. :( Its so sad what some of these babies have to grow through. Find solace in that he has found a forever loving home with you and he will live out the rest of his days in paradise! :) He will finally get the love and care that he deserves! People like you are a true blessing! |
I feel better for my rant now lol, and thank you all. I trully don't know what i would do if i lost him now. Sat here clock watching, 25mins to go, then I can go and pick him up. Today has been such a long long day |
I can understand why you are upset. Just think how much better your guy is going to be feeling now that those awful teeth are out of his mouth. Once it heals he should be so happy! Are you going to brush his teeth now or use some other way of keeping up with the tarter? I have been brushing Gracie's teeth though she does not show any signs of needing it yet. I have heard that they have some enzymes out that are supposed to fight plaque as well. I guess some dogs have more problems with their teeth than others. |
I'm right there with you, I cannot understand how people can let their pets go as they do. I'm so glad you opened your heart and home to sweet little Bart. Bless you. Glad to hear he is doing well and will be backing in your loving arms soon. Give him big hugs))) from me & Zhoie too. |
Sorry Bart had to suffer like this. But he will be much better now that he is in a forever home with a mommy that loves him. |
well he is back home now and curled up with me on the sofa. He has had to have most of his teeth out, I think he has been left with just 4, the 2 fangs at the top and the 2 at the bottom. He looks so sorry for himself, he doesnt look well at all bless him. He keeps doing a little shake like alittle tremor bless him. He has just managed to eat a little soft food and have a drink though. Isn't it awful when there not bouncing around like there usual selves. I feel so sorry for him. He will probably get more sleep tonight than me! haha... you just got to love them though :) |
Poor Mr.Bart at least now he has a forever home where he will be loved and taken care of. |
Thank goodness he now has you as his mum to look after him <3 xxx |
Well, that stinks. It's so great that Bart now has you to take care of him and make sure he stays healthy! |
You have the right to be angry but he's such a lucky guy to have you to care for him. |
Thank goodness you have him now. He will be able to enjoy a better life. :) |
