Rug shampooers Ruger has done a pretty good number on my bedroom carpet. Fortunately no smell at all (all pee and no poop), but lots of stains. The carpet was new when I moved in but very cheap, and one day I may replace it with some type of tile. Anyway, what do you guys recommend for shampooing carpets? Should I bite the bullet and get a new one at Wal-Mart? How are the machines you rent at the grocery store? I'd bring in a pro, but they are pretty expensive around here. Thanks for the advice. |
We've always hired Stanley Steemer (do you have those in CO?) to come and clean our carpets. They do a great job. |
My grandma puts dawn in her shampooer |
Closest Stanley Steemer is 3 hours away -- I'm up in the mountains. |
We used to always rent a Rug Dr. But We just bought a Hoover stream Vac Deluxe for Pets... It keeps the water heated etc.. It's Awesome and you can et it at Walmart for about $200.00... |
We have a Hoover shampoo-er too and it did a great job, that being said about a week later it started smelling worse than before!! Now we have an area the dogs thinks is a restroom!! Ack-yuck!! I am thinking of ripping it up and trying those carpet tiles. Anyone with experience with those? |
Yep,Hoover shampooer with stair and furniture attachment. I wore the old one out after 11yrs,got a new one just like the old one. Mine came from BestBuy. Carpets get done 3 or 4 times a year. |
