Riots in London!! Just wanted to say that these riots in London as sickening!!! I feel sooo ashamed to be british right now, we are having a war with ourselves! I want to say a quick prayer for all the people who are suffering at the hands of these little yobs! The police are trying there best and i feel so sorry for the business ruined and houses torched and famlies left homeless!! What a sick world we live in!! Keeping it in the theme of yorkietalk i would also like to say a prayer for the police dogs trainined in these situations. I worry about them too... and i feel like sometimes they are forgotten and they shouldnt be because they are also doing a wonderful job like the police... They are fighting for everyone in england trying to get these thugs in order! I pray they these dogs stay safe and do not get hurt in these terrbile riots! Another thought i had was alot of people cant get back to their homes because of the riots and houses have been set on fire..... what is any animals are inside.... its heart breaking to think about. And i know lives have been distroyed and homes demolished but i know myself if it happened in this area MY main concern i would have is that Poppy was safe over my home. I hope that when these thugs set houses and businesses on fire that everyone gets out safe INCLUDING all animals! Just wanted to say that, i hope thats ok :( |

This is the "bane" of our times. It is like we make such gains and this we have something like this happen. It is not just uk.. there are problems at one time or another all over. I just pray for the families, pets that at the very least safe. |

May God comfort you. My prayers are that you and Poppy will be safe. We need not be ashamed when some people do awful things , we can only be responsible for our own actions. No matter what Nation, religion, club, family,or race, we belong to, we can strive to live up to the ideals that make them great. We should not be drawn into the radical ideas and behavior, that a minority of people say speaks for us all. The trouble makers don\'t want to change things the legal way. They take good ideals out of context and distort them for their own sick agenda. The result does not always justify, the way things were done. Needless loss of life, harm to innocents is never right. Most of us feel sadness, revulsion and outrage, when humans hurt other humans. Like a cancer some people hurt the whole human body. True freedom is very costly, because it allows a small group to hurt us all. We are not responsible for their bad behavior, but we are responsible how we react to it, and what we do do to fix the harm done. |

I too, pray that all the animals remain safe during the unrest. Always stay proud to be British:thumbup: ! I am a proud American:smileyfla even though some of our people here riot over sporting events whether they win or lose , |

I\'m absolutely sickened by what\'s going on in London. My daughter\'s boyfriend lives in Croydon, South London and they are rioting and burning buildings & cars. It\'s downright scary and the police are doing nothing to stop it! He comes over here to America on holiday in 6 DAYS!!! I wish he was already here. |

My heart breaks for the poor people caught in the cross fire of these sick people. I pray that God sends comfort to the familes and animal\'s whose lives have been wrecked and that forgivness be shown to the real animals who are buring down buildings, homes, and people\'s dreams. May God have mercy. Be sure to cuddle Poppy extra tight tonight. |

Sending prayers your way from NYC. Hopefully there will be peace soon. |

I saw your PM on the news today and he seems to be taking a strong stand against the violence and destruction that has been going on. I hope he stands behind and carries through with what he said. It seems these people are just looking for a reason to wreak havoc on your country. I pray that God will give all of our leaders wisdom for governing in these difficult times. |

Furbutt, I am so distressed by what is happening in the UK. My family lives about 112 miles south of you in York and I have family that work near London - they have all pretty much gotten out if they could. This country has experience similar insanity so we can relate. Will keep prayers and good thoughts that they will be able to get this stopped. We were there earlier this summer and had such a great time -- Cali loves the country life:D Blessing to all police dogs that are in harms way. |
