morgan has a lump my morgan who is 15 weeks old has a lump on his back// it is not painful and it isn't attached to his back or anything. I called the vet and she said it might be because of his vaccinations// he has another appt on the 16th to see her// he is eating great/ no vomiting or diarhea. Just wondering if anyone else has had this happen? |
Probably is the injection site for the vacc. Don't worry, especially because you are going back to the vet soon. |
A couple of days after my Lucy had her vaccination there was a bump on the back of her neck at the site of the injection and it was there for over a week but then it went down and now it is gone. If Morgan just got any vaccinations and the bump is in the area where they put the injection then I wouldn't worry about it too much. The vet should have given you a paper with the possible side affects of the vaccinations I would read that and just keep an eye on her but I am sure she will be fine. :) Quote:

thanks, He is my new baby and I probably worry too much |
My chorkie gets a big lump on her shoulder every time she gets her rabies shot. It goes away in about a week. It's probably not anything to worry about. |
Both of my babies had the lump after their shots. Abby is small and hers took a little longer to go down. But, no pain and and no bad reactions from either one of them. I am Type A - so took the day off when they got their shots to make sure they did not have a bad reaction. They did take an extra long nap, but between the car ride, the vet and the shot - they were beat!! |
