Big day tomorrow Snip, snip...... My little guy Thor goes in tomorrow at 8am. I've never had a problem with any of our other dogs but this little darling is only 5 pounds and 7months old, getting him neutered has me feeling sad although I know it's the best for him. Also pulling 2 canines...... :( |
With a name like Thor I'm sure he is mighty enough to pull through. Hugs and kisses his way! :animal36 |
I am sure Thor will handle it better than his mommy. My Sassy was 5 lbs when she got spayed and she did great. I also had 2 boys neutered. I will keep you and Thor in my thoughts and prayers. |
Thor is a great name. Good luck on the surgery. :) He'll do great! |
I feel your pain... My little guy, Mickey, goes in tomorrow, too. I am worried sick. He is 2, but he's only 4 pounds and he's such a sensitive little guy. Plus, he has undescended testicles, so it will be a big deal. :( Hopefully both of our little guys will do fine. |
keeping both babies in my prayers for a safe surgery. As long as you have the pre surgical blood work it should be ok. |
Thor and I thank everyone for your support and we are wishing Mickey a speedy recovery. We will be thinking about you so keep us posted. |
Sending hugs and prayers to both Thor and Mickey! Be sure to give us an update! |
They are such trusting little guys.....he stayed there playing and gave me kisses before I left. Let's see if he will give me kisses when I go back to get him at 4. It's going to be a long day for the both of us. :( |
He will probably be sleepy when you pick him up but I am sure he will be happy to see mommy. |
Mickey is home! I wasn't supposed to pick him up until 6, but when I called to check on him, they told me that he was doing great and to come earlier.....so I picked him up around 3. He's doing much better than I ever imagined! He is tired, but he did walk around a little and ate some food. He's sitting next to me with his little elizabethan collar around his neck looking adorable! I hope Thor is doing as well. I'll be looking for an update! |
Good to hear Mickey is doing well. Waiting on an update on Thor. Is it me, or have a lot of little boys gone under the knife today? |
Happy to hear Mickey is home, glad mom and Mickeyare doing good. |
Glad he's doing well. He deserves a lot of treats. ;) |
Thor is a lot better than I thought he would be. Came home ate and drank slept for about 30 min on my lap and now he is trying to jump up and down. I have to keep telling no to stay down. No collar and he is not even bothering with it. They did remove all 4 baby canines but he ate with no trouble the soft food I made him. I'm so happy that Mickey is also doing well - we have 2 great pups!!!! Thanks everyone for your support :aimeeyork :) |
Glad Thor and Mickey both are doing great! :) |
So glad to hear that Thor is doing well also! We've been able to take Mickey's collar off for most of the evening. He's eating and drinking and even went outside to go to the bathroom. We can now make a collective sigh of relief! I'm glad today is over! |
I'm glad all the boys are doing well. The fun for all the humans is about to begin. How you keep a pup quiet while they recover is hard work! |
