Lulu is at the groomers!
 
I am so excited & so nervous about Lulu's new haircut. I dropped her off just a bit ago and will pick her up in a few hours. This is the first time she has been to this groomer and the first time she will be getting a drastic hairstyle change! I was very pleased with the groomer so far & I feel very comfortable with her...I'm just nervous about seeing Lulu's long hair shaved for the first time.:eek: I will post some pics as soon as I can.

I can't wait to see Lulu new hair cut either. I love the shorter cut hair...it's much cooler for them.

I've been thinking about you!! My two went yesterday and they told me you were coming. I told them to take good care of LuLu!

They told me you were in yesterday & will be bringing Sadie back for her new hairstyle. :) I got to talk to Janet & she was incredibly nice and really knew her stuff. I feel confident she will do an amazing job with Lulu. She even told the others to be extra careful with Lulu because of her LP. I'm anxiously awaiting the call to come pick her up...should be soon.

Janet really is good. I want to see pictures!!! I told them that on YorkieTalk we call that cut the "Joey". They said that they might just name it that too! Nancy - Joey is becoming famous!

I take Sadie back next Monday. I'm getting the "Beatrice". (Post 29 in this thread)

It's almost like the Joey but leaves a little skirt. Beatrice has her tail short but I'm going to leave it long like Beemer's. My husband took one look at these pictures and wanted me to do it right now. Sadie looks so beautiful right after she's groomed but she's a mess within 30 minutes or so. I think we'll all be happier.

We're home! I thought I would be shocked when first seeing Lulu but I really wasn't. I think she looks so so good. However, I think she is mad at me. :eek: She's been pouting ever since I picked her up. LOL! I did the best I could to get some pictures.

Awww! She looks adorable!!!! I love it!!! I was less shocked over how Beemer looked than I thought I'd be too.

I'm sorry she's pouting. Beemer was sassy after he got his hair cut. Sadie might be the pouter - we'll see.

I love being able to see Lulu's little body. She looks so athletic! I think once she gets used to it, she will love it. Perhaps she is simply pouting because I left her at the groomer & not because she lost most of her hair. Either way, I'm glad I did it. She looks good and will definitely feel better in the heat. And now when she wears her cute little clothes, we won't have to spend an hour brushing out tangles. :thumbup:

She looks adorable. I keep trying to get myself to have Cali cut down. It looks like Lulu has a nice coat. Cali's is cottony.

Lulu is so beautiful in her new haircut!! I knew she would look great. Hopefully she will be over the pouting soon. She is a little beauty.:)

OMgosh....I LOVE it! LuLu looks just gorgeous! She wears this well and the groomer did an amazing job. :thumbup:

I love her haircut! I am taking Khloe for her first real grooming this Saturday, and I'm nervous. I'm hoping her cut comes out as good as Lulu's.

Thanks everyone! I think Lulu has forgiven me for leaving her at the groomers. She keeps coming over to me for a back and belly rub. When we went out for our potty break, she didn't seem nearly as hot and played with her favorite soccer ball like a champ. I think she feels good now...and she looks cute as a button!

BTW, Lulu has a soft coat too.

It's been a few days now since Lulu's hair cut and I love it even more! My dh even says he thinks she looks cuter with her new do. :D I also think Lulu has forgiven me for dropping her off at the groomers. The cutest thing is that she has found her tail. :p I guess with all of her body hair gone, her tail hair tickles her sometimes...I found her chasing her tail this morning...it was too cute! I have to say that I am enjoying the much less maintenance time it takes to brush her and fix her top knot now. :aimeeyork And she looks gorgeous with or without her clothes on.
