Help Dexter Out!!! I am having a little bit of writers block with brainstorming today. I am attempting to write a dog blues song for an upcoming video and need help brainstorming things dogs could be sad about! post a comment below to help us out with ideas about what a dog could be sad about and we might use the idea in our video! :) :love: |
Hmmm... Maybe mama doesn't have any bones in the cupboard ( a la Old Mother Hubbard). Or maybe his adorable sister stole his favorite toy. |
Ut oh! Dexter might think you like Peppermint more than him... Or sad about going to the vet's Or sad that everyone at the vet's makes over 'P' more than him.... Or fretful that you may have to take an extended trip without him... Or worried that you're having so much fun with 'P' that you may be considering getting a 3rd or even a 4th puppy! Or that 'P' likes Piggy and has taken it from Dex. Or 'P' thinks you ran out of Cookies! okay, now I'm depressed! lol. |
sad about being left behind when you go to the store or out sad about bedtime being to early sad about not catching that squirel in the yard sad peppermint seems to get more attention at potty time and more praise for doing something he has been doing for years sad he didn't get to go on that car ride and very sad his coconut is all gone |
Or he could be sad that his Mommie is just so darn happy all the time and that she is wasting time trying to think of sad things instead of making happy videos out the butt...lol (JK) Poor Dexter... so sad that everywhere he goes, everybody makes over the little sister more than him anymore... He's feeling so old and uncute... He longs for those long past happy days when he got all the attention from everybody, everywhere.... Oh woe is Dexter! Poor, poor baby... Now I'm crying...:( |
Peppermint's food tastes better. Sad that he can't sleep peacefully anymore. |
Peppermint is getting too much camera time. He thinks he's being replaced by a newer model. Everyone pays more attention to P than him. He gets no respect from the neighborhood cats. |

He doesn't have a girlfriend to call his own. He likes a girl but she likes someone else. The poor pup needs some romance and love in his life. |
I do not have a GREAT imagination so if these are lame or not bluesey... so sorry LOL dogs in the pound with no mommy of their own dog catcher in the neighborhood obedience school fridge goes out / treats go bad Good luck... I can't wait to see what you come up with. I know it'll be great |
The squirrels have kidnapped Pig and are holding Pig for ransom - they are demanding a garbage can filled w nuts. (No, I have not had a cocktail today - yet.;)) |

Come on peppermint we are hunting squirrel. They have stolen there last toy. We will teach them. Oh and I think they stole your cookies. You guys have me wanting to write a story. To much fun. :) |
hmmmmm things that make our pupsters sad..... one treat left in the bag and two pairs of eyes an afternoon at the park or the pool or just running around the back yard gets rained out a long day at home alone while mama and papa are at work bedtime and the best snoozing spot is already occupied by little brother/sister mama being sick or sad really need a nap in the sunny spot on the floor only it's a cloudy day just one of those feeling bummed out days |
I like the idea of the big brother blues. Dex gets blamed when Pepper has an accident in the house, then again when Pepper chews up Mom's favorite shoes etc. He decides Mom loves Pepper best and it's too "Ruff" being the big brother. In the end Pepper does something really cute and lovable and he melts. |
Peppermint has the LAST bully stick and is teasing him with it-na-ne-na-ne-na-ha. |

In finding out that he is actually 28 yrs old and hasn't yet started a family :( is down, cuz how can he start a family when he doesn't even have a girlfriend..... :rolleyes: |
Sad that he's been having a relationship for about 4 years and has only gotten to see his girlfriend once. |
