Lock car windows I just wanted to remind everyone when they are traveling with there babies in a car seat next to the door to lock your windows if they are the automatic ones that you push down on to open. Yesterday we were taking Callie to the groomer and she was in the backseat behind the driver in her car seat and she stood up to look out the window and her paw was on the window thing and it put it down and then she was hanging her head out. She was buckled in so she wasn't going to go anywhere but it still was a little startling. My grandma was driving and I was in the passenger seat in the front so I was able to pull her back by reaching her harness and she pulled her head out of the window then my grandma rolled it up and locked it. It could have been really bad if she wasn't buckled in (although she always is) |
Good point. I'm getting a booster seat, but until then I will sure lock out the windows! |
A very good reminder. |
Thank you I never thought of that! |
Thanks for posting this reminder. I have wondered if they could actually roll the windows down. This is scary. |
Thanks for the tip, mine are always locked because when my 17 year old son gets in the car he fusses at me because he can't let his window down. |
Yes! What a great reminder. Jackson scared me once because he, too, rolled the windows down by himself and I realized the window was ALL the way down. He actually did it a few times after this and I know it wasn't pure accident - he did it on purpose  So yes I keep child lock on at all times now -- because of my DOG! |
Thanks for the reminder, it has happened to me. It scared me when it happen with one of my bigger dogs, it could have ended badly! |
Thanks for the very important reminder. Quote:

Thanks for the tip. I didn't think about dogs being able to do it too. :) |
Thanks for the reminder. In our old car, Uni also knew how to lock/unlock the doors, and turn on the hazards. In my car now, no power anything! If she's gonna want to roll the windows down, she's gonna need opossible thumbs. |
I never gave that a thought, thanks for the info |
thanks! |
Good reminder |
