Pet I.D...too good to be true? This sounds pretty phenomenal to me. It's a pet id tag that is linked online with all of your pet's vital info incl a photo. It can email local shelters, hospitals, etc if God forbid your pet gets lost, or if someone finds you pet all they have to do it type in your pet's# online and it gives the person all of your pets info, including care! Does anyone have any experience with this BlanketID? |
I haven't heard of this. Maybe someone else will comment. It would work as long as the person that found your dog is honest enough to return sweet baby and not keep it. |

Haven't heard of this. Since someone tried to steal Cali, I am hoping for a tracking microchip type thing. Her microchip has her address, phone number and vets name on it -- if anyone bothered to check. But when the police/I caught the thief in the act and he said he wanted Cali for his girlfriend, the chances of the chip getting checked would have been slim. PS The other story is about how I almost got arrested when I caught the thief! I turned into a whole other person it seems! |

I always think I would never lose Pita but you never know, and I guess there are no options that completely assure that your pet will be returned. |
Oh, in that case, sounds okay. Would they access a Tag ID or something? |

I have been concerned enough about Gracie to microchip and put an ID tag on her. If she did get lost and someone found her it could take days before someone took her to a vet or a shelter that could scan her for her information. Either way someone is going to get your info either from tag or microchip. I guess I would just be careful what info I put in the tag. Obviously you would have to give your phone number at the very least. |

This sounds a lot like AKC CAR. AKC CAR - Companion Animal Recovery I think chipped, tagged local, tagged like this - ANYTHING we can do is good. I have always perimeter trained my dogs and am trying with Angel. Emphasis on TRYING :( |
I'm not so worried about losing Nilla as I am worried that someone will steal her. I hope that they (they being inventors) can come up with something that will address that problem. Doggie GPS, please! |
