Logan mastering some tricks 3 Attachment(s) Our little Logan is growing up fast and is nearly 13weeks old:D He has now mastered sit, paw, up and dance where he gets up on back legs and turns around:D so what trick should i work on next? Lily who is coming up for 18months can do sit, paw, speak, dance, stay, lay down, and is currently working on roll over although she is not keen on this one:p i might try hide with her. Once she had mastered the basic commands we didn't really teach her any more and its only recently that i decided to try different tricks with her as she loves it:D I have to take them one at a time to master tricks as they are just a nightmare if we try it with all three as soon as i say paw i have 3 paws coming at me hehe hehe I've attached some pics of our little Logan doing some tricks:D yvonne xx |
What a bright little boy you have! But you must be a gifted dog trainer, too, since you have taught all of your babies to do tricks. Can you describe your training techniques? |

woow ur babies are really smart and you must be an awesome dog trainer. Lola is 15 months old and she only does sit and down , i just don't know how to teach her anything else. :( |
I would work on 'speak' with him, that way you can move naturally to the 'hush' command after he gets that one. Tell him to 'speak', then when he does, give him a treat. When you give the treat, he has to be quiet to eat it. Take this time to say 'hush', then treat immediately after. I can say from experience that this is a VERY useful command. Good luck! :) |
Wow, Logan has good looks and BRAINS! ;) He is adorable and what a smart guy. Keep up the good work. Trick training is so much fun, the dogs usually love it, and it's a great bonding experience for the owner and dog. Here is Jackson's latest video, maybe it will give you some ideas: |
