Yorkie kisses... Hi, i was just wondering if anyone else´s yorkie goes insane when they get picked up giving you kisses...:D... My baby "BIG" especially in the morning thats the time he gets the most mental or if we have left him to go shopping and come back home, he gets so so so so excited that when i pick him up to say hello, he without so many words KISSES MY FACE OFF........ His tongue is going 100 times a minute kisses me all over and over again....non stop......For me i love it, but my hubby its like a wild bird is attacking his face lol..... He is so loving its unreal...never have had such a loving animal EVER and i have owned a lot of animals and dogs...but "BIG is the one that is the most loving and kisses by far.....When hes not excited and normal he still loves to kiss all the time.....Guess im lucky to have such affection, even if it does make hubby jelous somethimes hahahaha...:D;) |
My Sassy does this , everytime I leave the room for 5 minutes or leave for hours she gets so excited and drives me crazy to pick her up so she can kiss me until she almost smothers me. She is very hyper compared to my other 3 Yorkies. They love to lick and kiss also but not like her. Nothing like puppy kisses. |
Yeah Brandi's the same way......but after witnessing some of things she has eaten like cat poop, cat vomit, and her poop, I stopped letting her kiss on me so much. And those are just a few of the things I caught her licking up. God knows what she has licked up when she's outside. I rememeber this one time, she was running around the house with cat poop in her mouth, drops it and then comes running to me wanting to kiss me, you could still smell the kitty litter on her breath....that was so funny. Of course I was like ewwwwwwww.....no way! I do however let her give me a little kiss on the tip of my nose and she seems okay with that for now. But if she could, she would lick all over me until I've completely dissappeared. |
That is one thing that does concern me but as yet im closley monitoring him, as this week is the last of his vaccination so still hes not been out in the street and lucky we dont have a cat but thats funny lol....:)..........i just hope he stays forever loving like he is now when he gets older too and its not just his puppy phase. |

my pheobe sneeks kisses and then takes off.. its adorable. it started when my boyfriend refused to accept kisses... but, of course, she never gave up and now he is the ONYL ONE she smothers with kisses. and then takes off like a rocket through the house.. pure bliss. gotta love it |
Arrrhhhh its so sweet to know that yorkies are such loveable dogs.... but i am suprised to see that all of the above posts apart from one, you have girl yorkies. I read that the boys are suposed to be more affectionate than the girls, but i guess they are wrong when it comes to kissing.... :) |
My Gracie loves to give kisses. When we come in the door she starts licking our feet if she can get to them. We pick her up and she wants to lick our faces and necks. She is just such a lovey girl. If I am in bed using the computer she will come up and lick my face to let me know I need to put it away and pay attention to her. She can be quite demanding when we first get home. She just has to get as close to our faces as possible. If we don't pick her up she can hardly stand it. I make her sit before I will pick her up but her little butt can hardly stand still while she is waiting for me to bend down and pick her up |
Josie is the kisser here. She loves to kiss and kiss and kiss. |
Suzi has always been a big kisser. So much that I put a limit on that. Now she will kiss my son forever because he lets her :p |

Princess gives fast, wild kisses whenever I'm reunited with her, even it's only been five minutes.;) I always hold her close & sweet talk her & she'll start kissing me as if she's contributing, it's so cute.:) But when she doesn't want kisses she let's you know. If I try to bring her closer she'll straighten her front legs out so I can't get closer.:rolleyes: She wont want down, just doesn't want to get all mushy I guess. |
In the morning and when I get home from work, mine do give a lot of kisses when I pick them up - they are way to excited to look around. But when I put them down, they wait patiently for me to lay down with them and then.....PUPPY ATTACK!!!! Best way to decompress after at day at work, or shopping, or the gym, anything really - puppy time is the best. |
