What's your Yorkie's 'weirdest' toy/lovey? So my new little guy, Bentley, was quite calm and tame the first week or so he was home. Then my 6 year old son happened to break out one of his Zhu Zhu pets (Rocco, the raccoon to be specific). Bentley went NUTS! If he even SEES Rocco he'll dart out from wherever he may be. He absolutely LOVES this thing and I find it quite amusing to see a Yorkie playing with this rodent type toy. :p Also, following my son's birthday party a few weeks ago he would jump up and down in the air to try and "catch" the balloons. So, yes, my silly boy loves Zhu Zhu Pets and Balloons. What about yours?! |
Very Cute. I used to be able to say how many toys Fiona enjoyed playing with, but, now that she is 3 she doesn't play with her toys as much, mainly because now that we are living with my boyfriend and his lab/pit mix, she likes to chew toys up, and I hid all of Fiona's toys! But, needless to say, as a puppy, Fiona's favorite toy was her froggie, which we still have, and when she isn't feeling good, or just wants to relax, she will find her froggie and lay with it! it's super cute when she does! |
Suzi absolutely loves her little frog .She carries it around like it is her baby. And also sleeps with it. Sometimes she hides the toy too. i leave her and her frog alone because it seems so important to her. ;) |
Ziva loved ping pong balls when she was a puppy. She had a dozen of them, the boys had a riot with them bouncing and her chasing! Alas... one day her mouth got strong enough to pop them :(, we have not found a good substitute. |

Frances has a little stuffed doll named Angelina. She has had an Angelina since she was a puppy and now at 7 years old Angelina is still her favorite. I think we are on Angelina number four, when they get unsafe I replace them. Frances has a tendency to love the stuffing out of her toys. |
No matter what, Wylie is all about a ball...any ball. That said, he adores his stuffed 'lover dog' and will have his private moments w/ lover, and then cuddle w/ her too. Marcel ADORES a 'shoe pad' thingy that I pulled out of brand new running shoes years ago, I never used the pad bc I was putting in custom ones. But he picks that thing up and prances around w/ it - it's a size 8, so it's longer than he is. Adorbs. Pfeiffer loves to toss her hair clip around and then find it. But, she also loves anything that squeaks - and her squeak rhythm is totally hers, and unique. |
Cupcake's favorite toy is an empty toilet paper roll. One time we gave her an empty paper towel roll (which is bigger than her) and she went banana's playing with it. She wants everything that isn't a dog toy. |
My two pups love an empty plastic water bottle. Put a few pieces of kibble in it to make noise and they go crazy! |

3 Attachment(s) Not necessarily "weird", but Roxie has three favorites: Her cow (which is almost as big as she is): My mom gave it to her the first Christmas I had her, and she just loves to hug it. Her pink Kong Wubba: Her favorite throw/fetch toy. She also loves to "murder" it by shaking it back and forth when she catches it. Her little pink piggie: It fits in her mouth perfectly. She loves to fetch that one also. |
Cali "steals" plastic bottle caps and can play with them for hours. She throws them in the air then chases them when they roll around. |
Cali loves her pink pong ball that has a little belt inside (cat toy), she ll chase after it for hours. She also loves her pink Poodle toy that barks (kid toy), she bites ate and play with it like it s a real dog ..so cute :) |
I love reading about all the little fur kids and how they play with their toys. Mine just won't play with toys, balls or anything. I tried the plastic water bottle with beans inside, peanut butter stuffed kongs, empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls, cat toys, ping-pong balls, rubber balls of all sizes.......well you name it. I'd give anything to have one that played like all of yours do. I think mine have a motto, if you can't eat it, then don't touch it!! :( |
Well, my Baxter has several toys...but his favorite is BY FAR my 20.5lb cat Tiger... he'll bark at him and pull him around by his tail... and the cat LOVES it. Baxter will get bored and walk away, and Tiger will go up to him and flop over in front of him and meow, and bug Baxter until he starts playing again! Pretty funny! |
2 Attachment(s) Tessie's is the small dog beds, but she won't sleep in them, she just likes it for her boyfriend. Sister Sassy wants to know what the heck Tessie is doing to her bed. |
