My two don't ever try to hump anything... I had to stop Couv a couple times when before he was fixed, but we really haven't had any issues since. He's found maybe 2 dogs at the dog park in his 3.5 years that he tried to hump and I just told him no and he stopped. I guess it is a personal preference... If they just hump a toy, it's probably not an issue, but if they are humping people or other dogs, I would definitely stop it. |
If they were humping people, I would stop it. If it's their fav toys, I don't think there's anything wrong w/it. Momo tried to hump Princess once (dominance thing), she growled & he backed away. He sometimes humps Turbo, Turbo sits down & Momo can't hump him no more. Momo also tries to hump Mimi, she runs away. Princess only humps her loofa toys, I don't know what it is (12"? teehee!) but that's the only toy she humps & it cracks me up. What's even funnier is when she does it on my bed, naughty girl loll! |
👀 My Cook is 3 months old and it was cute at first, but he humps his blanket during play time. I'm a little concerned and is not cute anymore. Not sure if his is normal, but in 3 more months I am getting him neutered. Suggestions please? 🐶™:animal-pa |

Just me personally...I dont like it. Orion tried to hump Raelle a few times...I put a stop to it, Raelle tried to hump Jersey when we brought her home..I told her no and put a stop to that as well, They dont hump their stuffed animals just each other...I'm not good with that....JMO |
Scoobers humped after neuter, he had to be trained not to do so. Elvis unaltered only tried to hump Princess when she was in heat. |
