Does your yorkie sleep alot My little gal is 7 months and still sleep like she did when I got her at 12 week, but when she is up she goes full blast |
One of mine sleeps a lot while his two older siblings are awake till the wee hours of the morning. They are all different. |

Mina is either full blast or off. There is not inbetween. Goes kind of like this... ZOOOOM!!ZOOOOM!! sleep ZOOOOOOM!! ZOOOOOOM!!. That is her day,except at 2 in the afternoon when she comes to me,begs and whines because it is cuddle and nap time. |
Mine play until they both crash and then sleep for a nice long time or until I move from the room. They sleep pretty well thru the night, but they also play from the time I get home until it is time for bed. My little guy usually goes to sleep first, but he is also the one that fusses the most when I leave. I have snuck in and peeked in on them - he is usually on his bed just fussing away and my little girl is sound asleep. Such a boy! LOL |
Mine is 9 months and he has always slept or rested a LOT. When there is another dog to play with, he plays hard, otherwise he is very calm and relaxed. For a long time I was worried he might have liver shunt, he was so lethargic, but his bloodwork is fine and he has no other symptoms. He's just a sleepy, calm dog. |
i think it depends on what YOU are doing during the day. Clover seems to follow suit to how i am doing! when i was ill with a bad flu, i was in bed pretty much 24/7 and Clover slept with me the entire day and night. and that went on for about 4 days! my housemate would take him for a short walk and he would go out to the back garden for toilet breaks but apart from that, he stayed in bed either dozing or just lying in bed. also, when i'm busy concentrating on something (i work from home, crafting) he knows i am busy and falls asleep on my feet. amazingly enough he seems to know when i'm just mooching around the house or taking a break from working, even when i'm still sat at the desk, he will wake up and bug me to play! :grin2: |

It amazes me how much Heidi can sleep. If I move a muscle she'll lift her head to see what I'm going to do. But she can be sound asleep and hear her favorite words (treat or go) she will suddenly be full throttle. |
Yes they do sleep a lot. My 'herd' is either eatting, napping or playing. They follow me from room to room, but if I sit back down to work, they settle down for a nap. |
My wild man doesn't sleep much at all during the day. I'm sure he naps when he is left home alone, but when someone is there with him, he is too busy running and playing and barking and following you around. He totally crashes at night, though. :p |
My baby is super lazy. He sleeps all the time. I always thought he would perk up eventually but he's 3 now and is still sleeping all the time. He usually sleeps on us when we are home. Right now I'm on the couch with my laptop and he's laying right beside me asleep. He woke me up from my nap by licking my face repeatedly, but then when I woke up he fell asleep. LOL I have no idea what he wanted from me. |
Zach is a year and a half and he is a real spitfire when he's awake. He'll run and play hard then when he's tired he'll just flop down like a rag doll and sleep for a few hours. I guess to store up more energy for the next playtime. We jave five dogs and they all seem to take long naps during the day. |
Fido sleeps really much ! he's 3 years old ( his birthday was yesterday), he sleeps almost all the time ! |
Carmel sleep a lot, but always energized when going on walks or to the park. At home, he just sleeps... |
