I want to hear what everyone's yorkie does when...... you are feeling sad/down or depressed..... These cute stories will help me feel better I think! :] My bailey licks my tears when i cry, it's soooo sweet....then i hug on her and tell over and over how much i love her :]....can you tell we're attached?? |
If I am sad or crying all 4 of mine will run over to where I am at, pushing and shoving each other, to see mommy and want to find out what is wrong. They jump all over me and give me tons of puppy kisses. Sassy is the most loving so she will lay down on my chest as close as she can get to me and snuggle. |

Duke will jump in my lap, and lean his head into my chest. Baxter will lay down beside me until I move him. They will just be really quite, and not move for anything. It always makes me feel better. |
Awww, your post reminded me of my little Cricket. She used to lick my tears in the low times together. Or she would just cuddle up real close to me. My Gidget now is a jokester. She will try to cheer me up by hiding behide my dining curtains (long and puddle), then she will hop out and take off running. Of course, you can see her tail and feet, but she thinks she's invisible. She also likes to hide behind the pillows at the head of the bed (again, you can see the back quarter of her hanging out, but she thinks this is hilarious)! |

My Rubyboy pats my face with his paw and tucks his head under my chin. Gracie licks tears and lays on me, the puppies Abba and Ginny Joy try to squeeze onto my lap. |

Princess gets really close for a snuggle. If I'm crying or start baby talking her she kisses me with these soft little kisses that she normally wont give. Of course sometimes she brings me a ball, she just knows that fetch will make me feel better.:rolleyes::p |

First off feel better hun! :0( I'm sorry you're so down. But in response to your post, Gizzy will sit on my chest and put his paws right under my chin and rest his little muzzle up by my bottom lip. It's so weird how they know when you're sick, upset, etc. Have a better day! Licks and cuddles from Gizmo! |
When I'm depressed my baby lays on me and rolls over for me to rub his belly. I can't help but feel better. He's such a sweety to me. He knows when I'm not feeling well and will lay on me. He does the same thing to mom when she's hurting from her back problem or something. Just him on me makes me feel loved and feel better about myself. He's truly my little angel from heaven. |

Im not sure if my Cooper knows 4 sure when Im sad. But I deffinately want to be near him when Im sad. He sleeps w us now. At first the hubby wouldnt let him, but he's now surrendered and Cooper takes his rightful place in the middle of our kingsize bed. He snuggles up real close.. I knew my husband would give in if he gave him a chance to see that. BUT, before he was allowed in bed, when I was sad Id go get him and we'd go to our own bed...lol He was just a comfort to me. Like a living teddy bear. :O) But one sweet thing he does is when he's just settin in my lap, sometimes when I just pet on him, he'll turn his head and softly lick my hand like he acknowledges Im loving on him and he's returnin kisses. But my Cooper is a fanatical kisser, u get kisses wether u want em or not. And oh, when he lays his head over on your chest and looks up at you w those sweet little looks... i love it! |
Suzi will stay right by my side when I am not feeling well. I had to have skin graphs done a couple of years ago and Suzi was always right there with me. Now that the graphs are done Suzi will lick my arms , it is like she knows something happened and she is trying to help me feel better. She is very presistent with licking my arms , sometimes I have to tell her i am ok and to stop. ;) |
When I'm angry Fido runs with his tail under his belly in his cage :( I always make him go into his cage when I'm angry cause I easily ''explode'' when I'm angry and could hurt the person standing next to me so cause I would NEVER wanna hurt Fido I let him go into his cage instead so hes completily safe, instead I just ruin a wall or something, I want my little babie to be safe but I can't control my anger so this is what I have to do, he knows when im getting angry so then he puts his tail down and goes into his cage. Wow i feel bad writing this, please DONT think im a bad mommy to him or anything its not my fault i have those anger issues im trying to fix them, but while im like that id rather have my babie in his cage for 5 minutes while my anger goes away then having him in the way when im angry, i hope you guys understand that :) I dont want some bad comments on this. When im sad and crying he comes to me and tryes to comfort me, its soo cute ! I love when he does it, it makes me feel alot better ! Im very much depressed so he helps me alot through the depression. |
Fido, my Cooper helps my depression. He's my smile every day, such a comfort to me. God bless and I wish you well in solving your anger issues. |
aw, so swet.. i cant wait for this.. i havent really cried since i got baby Ziggy a month ago.. but my Toby.. he is my best friend, he will come in close for a hug and stay still till i let go. he stares deep in my eyes and will rest his paw or head on me as if to say: im here for you.. I love him (not a yorkie but thought i'd share) |

Eleanor is very in tune with my emotions, mostly because I have made it a small part of her training. I have empathic gifts and I had heard Yorkies are very perceptive as well. It might sound silly to some but I will lay on my back with Eleanor on my chest. I will focus all thoughts |
Roxie knows when I am sad, and tries to take care of me. She will climb on me and lick the tears off my face. The last time she actually licked my eyeball!! At least that made me laugh. |
Rizzo brings me his favorite toy (Cookie Monster) and puts it in my lap...then proceeds to nuzzle it closer and closer to my hands until I pick it up. Once I acknowledge the wonderful gift he'll lay down and put his head in my lap until I'm done crying. He is my sweet little booger. |
Tibbe becomes my shadow. Whatever I do or wherever I go in the house, he's right there. I can't even go to the restroom alone if I am sad or not feeling well. |
