Help! Puppy playing with her poop & got it all over the place I have a problem with my baby playing with her own waste. If I can't clean it up right away, she would drag it out of the litter box and play with it. She got it all over the place and on her pretty face, too. I always have to leave her in a play pan with a plastic sheet underneath when unattended. At first, I thought she was just not happy about being left alone at home. But even when I am home (which I am most of the time), she would always find a chance to do that - like when I am cooking or doing the dishes. She is almost 6 months old. We don't relly let her wondering around by herself if we can't watch her as she might get into serious trouble. I have read a lot of book on dog training without any luck. It's so gross that I had to bath her almost everyday. I don't really think they can be bath that often but what else can I do? If any one have gone thru this, please let know how you handle it. We can really use some help here. |
You could try using some kind of product on her food to make it taste bad (like it doesn't already!), then maybe she won't pick it up. I've heard adding pineapple to their food or putting a couple drops of tobasco on it can help. The pet store near me sells tablets you feed the pup that's supposed to help. Other than that, I don't know what to tell you. I'm very fortunate, and so far, Pixie has left hers alone. |
