when looking at other peoples profiles that have multiple yorkies.. i can't deal.. lol.. im sooo jealous! seriously. tie my tubes.. no more real babies.. just more fur babies! i just want to buy like 3 more yorkies.. lol.. im obsessed. i thought i was obsessed before i had Lucy... nope.. its worse now. Yorkies are like potato chips... you cant just have one!

lol on a serious note i wont get anymore anytime soon. i already have a 4 year old daughter (like real daughter/skin baby lol) plus Lucy my yorkie and my siamese, blue and my black kitty raisen.. so for now i dont have room for anymore...

but i swear.. when i can afford a house of my own.. i am filling it up with yorkies!! they will have their own bedroom and all lol..

just wanted to share my obsessive thought lol

This is how I ended up with 4, after being in love with Tessie, she needed a playmate, so I got Hobbes, well 3 would be better so I got Calvin, the numbers were odd so I had to have Sassy to even out 2 girls and 2 boys. DH said we would never have a dog in the house.:D Also have 3 cats and a 17 year old skin kid.

bahaha i love it!! thats awsome! i swear i day dream about having more. i have future names picked out and everything! i loved yorkies before lucy but now that i have her and see what its really like to own one.. oh man.. i feel like i have been missing out before her. shes like a little human! i love her to death!

Count me in your camp. I keep telling Hubby Angel NEEDS a Yorkie sister to play with! I will name her Emily Rose and I will not need new things for her, she can wear and use the things that Angel has out grown. So far he is not going for it. It would help if Angel would stop doing poopies in the house. Sigh.

I share your envy! For years w my Cricket I only had one. Since I joined YT and saw all the ppl w mult yorkies, I think Gidget needs a playmate! They are just so cute together! DH tells me we are not ready for another, but I'm pretty sure I am!!;)

I have 4 skin kids (2boys, 2girls) and 4 yorkie kids (2boys, 2girls). :D Just had to even it out!!. It doesn't even feel like I have 4. They are such good buddies. They get along great. Couldn't think of living for a second without any of them.

I have been saying for weeks that Mina is so much like a people little girl. She loves hairbows and kinda likes dresses,my husband says that she is a tomboy. Chews on the other dogs. Doesn't have her own room,just took over ours. She does have her own tiny closet,stroller,playpen,crate,dresses made by mom,hairbows made by mom. So she and I are having a grand time shoping and playing. She even sits in my lap when Im at the sewing machine and NONE of my 6 children were ever allowed to do that,but she just sleeps instead of helping.

Between the yorkie baby and YT forum not much else has happened today,but it has been FUN!

YES IT IS!! Im the same way ive always loved yorkies and even thought im still looking for my very first yorkie i cant wait for when i do have her!!! i already have a name picked out and got alot of the things i see people say are the best for yorkies carseat playpen and so on.. I have no kids so why not?? lol when i do have my own house i will fill it up with yorkies!!

I have had Yorkies since 1970. For a long time I just had one. We raised Labs and several other Hunting breeds. 'The Yorkie' was mama's house pet. Now that is all turned around when I retired. Now I am raising Yorkie babies. My husband has one Lab and she is Daddy's walking buddy. LOL

I feel the same. I loves me some Teddie Bear. If I didn't already have three others by the time I got Ted, I'd have been collecting them. :p Not that my other dogs aren't special, but there is just something about the Ted Monster. He truly is my love muffin.

I would absolutely love to have a second yorkie, a playmate for Bentley but he doesn't seem all that interested in other dogs. He just sleeps all day and night and doesn't play much. I'm not sure if another dog would be beneficial for him. He's our first yorkie but certainly not the last. I've fallen in love with the breed and he is my angel from heaven. Maybe when we move out west in a year we might think about getting a second little angel. Until then, I can only dream.

Hmmmmm. I was a surrogate for 2 other couples so all together I have had 6 babies. Wonder if this means I need 4 more yorkies???? Lol

They certainly are addicting, and it didn't take long for me to end up with 4. I hate to admit that I still find myself thinking about *just one more*.

Hahaha! Me too! I had just gotten #2 when I joined YT. Then Linda44 did me in. And BonBon was no help either! So I added Sapphire in June and Infinity the following January. I try not to look, but I can't help it when a poor baby needs someone to love them.

I know how you feel!! I would have a house full of yorkies if I could and, best of all, stay home with them. :D Add some biewers too! :p Girl, I know the feeling of obsession over yorkie love!!

I'd love to have just one more too~but I need to lose a teenager and couple of grown children before I can even begin to think about it. It can get expensive just for basic vetting. I want to be able to give them all they need.

On a side note I already have a name picked out. Just in case :p

]bahahaha i love to hear other peoples stories of 'just one more!" lol.. yes in deed i cannot afford just one more! but it is definitely my goal in life to be the crazy yorkie lady! i have always been driven by animals.. (in school right now to be a vet tech) i wasnt the little girl who dreamed to get married and have kids.. i was the kid who dreamed to have 20 dogs and live on a farm with tons of animals.. since owning a yorkie i have decided i could give up the dream for pigs and cows and replace them with yorkies! lol.. what is it about these dogs that makes us crazy?? i cant help but love them. its funny too when your walking down the street with your fur baby and you come across another yorkie.. how you can stop and chat with the other yorkie mommy forever and everyone else around you just does not get it!! lol too funny

Im right there with you, we still have 3 of 6 people kids at the house,no littleones though and Im grateful for that. As much as I LOVE all of my children,I like my furbabies almost as much,sometimes more. My kids know it and are ok with it,they seem to understand.

Sick furbabies can really such the life out of your bank account. We spent $1000 in less than 12hrs a little while back and I still lost my baby,that is how I ended up here. We have purchased PetPlan insurance for Mina,thought that we would try something new,havent ever had insurance on the furbabies before.

I can not begin to put into words the joy that Mina has brought into my life. If I could just can the energy that she has. We play together,we read together,we sew together,we nap together,,,,ok so Im just a bit obsessed,but atleast my family just smiles and says "that's really sweet Mom/Honey". It is truely the little things in life that bring you joy,,,she weighs about 5lbs.

On another note there will be no more furbabies added for a while,we have six. But I will dream.......

how true i started with one years ago and then had three yorkies and my cairn they are so easy to love

I started out with one and now have three! I think three is my limit. LOL I can't imagine life without them! I've enjoyed this thread!

I am already looking for one more to add. lol. Baxter was my second Yorkie so that Duke would have a playmate. Duke wears Baxter out really easily. lol. What do I do for a Yorkie that is like the energizer bunny?
