Is this normal????
As much as I think I know about yorkies, I'd have to say I know the least about the yorkie coat! Millie is grayish blue (she was very black as a puppy) on her body, and she has the strip down her back where the hair is still black. My question is, she also has black wispy hair, about half an inch long, that sticks up right down the middle. It's just black fuzz that sticks up while the rest of her hair grows blue and straight down. She is two years old, so I thought she'd be in her adult coat by now? I actually noticed a change on her belly too where she is getting more tan coming through which before was all dark gray or black. Just wondering if this is normal or something weird with her coat? Her hair is pretty (or at least I think so!), so I don't think it's dry or anything. She uses MinkSheen and Pet Silk conditioner. Thanks in advance! |
