I knew you would understand..... ...... so i have come here for comfort!! I am on Holiday right now visiting family and i couldnt bring poppy :( Well i am just missing her so dam much, i feel like i could just burst out crying :(. I have been away from her a week and a half now and its really killing me!!! Is that weird? I would rather be home and go back to work then be without her... i defo wont be doing this again :( Its her birthday the day we get back from holiday i have bought her some presents, i got her a new bed, a new harness AND some lovely pink bows... she is also booked in to get her haircut the day before we return home! Ugh missing her so much :( I want my poppy licks a kisses |
I get it. That's why we haven't been on vacation for the last 5 years. I miss my furbutts. I even miss my babies just being away from them for 12 hours at a time. Just keep thinking about how wonderful it's going to be when the two of you are reunited. |
Agreed. :(:( |
I agree too. We don't go on vacation either. Not unless Rosie can come along. It is hard to leave these little furbabies!! |
Hi Natasha! I've missed you. I understand how difficult it is without Poppy while you are on holiday. I was very unhappy without my girls when we had to leave them, but my girls struggled a lot too when we were away. Our little Kiwi got so upset that she wound up getting sick every time, so we stopped going away anywhere they couldn't go. Poppy is young, so I'm sure she's okay but still missing her mom. I hope you have a great time, though. It will be a really happy homecoming when you see your little girl. |
I miss Sugar each and every time I go away. BUT....I still go. THere is a point that separation is a healthy option for everyone involved and makes for a happier Mommy ;) |
I've only left my momo for ONE night and it about killed me! I was so sad and kept asking my DH "What do you think he's doing?" I know I couldn't leave him for a week or so! so now my DH and I just stay home or If we do decide to take a trip we plan to were ever we go my momo can come along too! |
AAAW, I understand completely. And the title says so much. I get so excited after a day of people who arent dog lovers I can come home and log on here and almost everytime someone has gone through what I'm going through. Can you call and let her hear your voice? There is a boarding hotel near here that has phone calls for the doggies. How sweet is that? |
 Hugs to you... I completely get it. |
I understand too. I am looking for a place that will allow Mrs. Beasley to go with us. |
I must admit, I have decided to cancel the trip I was going to take in August. Max and Abby will be almost 6 months old. When I decided I was ready for new babies I decided that if I found the ones for me I would cancel the trip. I will still take the time off of work - I will just stay in town with them. It is around the time they will be getting fixed, so that actually works out well for my schedule. But next year, I will take my annual girls vacation. (yes, the girls get it this year - it has been hard since my Poppy died and they are all happy that I am happy with my new babies) |
Oh, I understand. We go to New Mexico about once a year to visit family who owns a ranch. Its a 4 hour plane ride and Bailee isn't exactly ranch material. With day long horse riding trips, we can't take her because there is no one to take her out so she stays home. We only go five days at a time but I miss her sooooooooo much. My fiance loves going so much, so we go, but I think of her every minute :( |
Totally understand this. The first time I went on holiday to Egypt for two weeks last year were horrible, I cried when I left her and I was phoning home all the time to see how she was (you do NOT want to know my phone bill LOL). I went to Cyprus last month for a week and it was a little easier, but still very hard and I still text home about her every day. |
My husband and I didn't take a honeymoon so we were debating where we wanted to go one day. And he goes to me, "Will have to put Giz in pup daycare so we can go which shouldn't be too expensive..." I just looked up and him and his response, "Who am I kidding, I'd miss the little monster just as much as you. Oh well, let's find some dog friendly vacation spots!" So, we're going to be planning just going upnorth. Which is Uber furbaby friendly! So, we both, sadly, know where you're coming from. But she'll be so so so so happy to see you when you get back! |
i agree with you/ spent 5 days in DC and the whole time I was wishing that I was home with my babies |
