i do not remember the exact recipe but it contains peroxide, look it up on line and they give the actual recipe. Good luck |
A Suggestion I looked online. They recommended bathing the dog in the following mixture if tomato juice did not work. Hope this helps. Good luck! If the tomato juice doesn't work or if you'd rather drink it than wash your dog in it, try a mixture of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda and regular dish soap. Use about 1 qt of 3% peroxide, 1/4 cup baking soda and a drizzle of dish soap. Mix it well and add a cup of water if needed and then lather up your dog right away. Found Another Idea for You Hi, Don't know how close you are to a vet, but might be worth a try if nothing else has worked. Found this comment online. My veterinarian used a very effective product DoggiCLEEN Skunk Spay. It got rid of the skunk stench on my dogs quickly and very effectively. |
This was given to me in one of my threads. Courtesy of Concretegirl: How to get skunk smell off dog... 1 quart hydrogen peroxide ~3% solution 1 cup baking soda 1 good squirt of DAWN dish soap 3 tbs lemon juice (watch around eyes it will burn) ...rub in leave for 10 minutes rinse and repeat for three days once a day |
Thank u everyone!!! i tried both and he is now a lot less stinky!! i already have him an appointment for the vet tomorrow for a check up i know im a worried mommy :) |
