Does your yorkie run to you when he/she is scared? Every time Poppy gets a fright she runs to me and jumps up for me to pick her up and cuddle her. Does your baby do the same? |
yes he does. momo sometimes runs to my feet and hide behind my legs as if to say he wants to be pretected. its funny because sometimes he barks like hes a huge baby and as soon as someone gets closer my baby is right back in my arms or behind my legs lol |

Yes Andy does that or if I'm standing he runs in between my feet and hides lol |
Jovi does the same - if we are outside and something scares her she runs and hides behind my legs, if we are inside she runs to me to hold her. love my baby girl :luvu: |
Yes, Rosie does this! She knows momma will take care of her! :D |
Yep, both of mine will run to me when they know they are in trouble. They know that I will take care of them. |
I think it's so cute, and it makes me happy to know all of our babies feel safe with their momma's and trust us to take good care of them. :) |
Yup Brandi runs to me when she is scared. A few nights ago we had thunderstorms and she was so scared that she literally jump in the shower with me. :D |
Nope. I wish he did. He gets scared and then goes into "run away as fast as possible" mode. When frightened, he likes to be as FAR away as he possibly can, which can be a scary situation. During our car accident, I obviously had him on a leash but he was pulling sooo far in the opposite direction, trying to bury himself in a hole on the side of the highway. Had I not been conscious, I worry about what would happen. |
Yes, Tibbe comes straight to me first thing. And I go to him when I'm scared. |
Shelby always looks for me when she feels threatened or not well..... this weekend was the first that SEEGER decided that a big dog's bark was scary (the Lab was controlled by his owner on a leash at the campground). Seeger was walking in front of me and then he scurried to get behind me when the barking began. It was so funny and I was quick to reassure him that everything was OK.... and we continued on our walk. |
lol... yes she does!!! If she hears a noise in the house she is the first down the stairs to check it out. Big brothers wait for her all clear...lol But if she is frighten when on walks or out she jumps on my legs so I can pick her up. |

I'm usually the one scaring Princess...terrible shopping bags, the vacuum, the laundry rack, so she runs from me. If something else scares her she doesn't come to me, she looks to me to help her. She gets this look like "you are going to check that out, aren't you?!?" Of course, she does ditch me when I'm freaking out over a bug, she doesn't know what the heck my problem is, lol. |

Yep! He doesn't get scared or spooked often, but when he does, he runs up to me and stands between my feet. |
Unfortunately Gracie knows no fear. She is a year old now and I have never seen her scared of anything. I had a Shih Tzu for 15 years that was afraid of thunder. I always felt to awful when I was away from home when there was a storm because I knew how horrified he would be. So far Gracie is not impressed with the thunder. It has awakened her a few times from sleep but she goes right back to sleep without a problem. She thinks she is super dog and sometimes I wish she would be a bit more concerned for her own welfare. I get worn out trying to protect her from herself. |
Mine does unless I'm the one doing the scaring like vacuuming. She will either stand on her back legs with her front paws on me doing the mommy pick me up thing or sit between my legs or follow me extremely close. If Im vacuuming she goes out the doggy door and checks the yard out and chills until I'm done. At the dog park if another dog is getting a little too rough with her (that dosent happened to often) she runs back to me also. |
