Does your baby get an attitude? ...Or is Princess just taking after me?:p Princess is so laid back personality wise & a little love bug. But for one, if she's doing something to crack me up (& not on purpose) she will glare at me until I stop laughing or she'll run to me for help. Like she's saying "well fine then, you do it!". Once in a great while I eat these snacks, basically a cheese-o. I will give her a tiny piece a few times as a special treat. She must have been extra excited for it tonight because she started to snatch it out of my fingers. I told her to "be nice" then praised her for a couple of good times after. Then she snatched again & I repeated "be nice" and she turned her head to the treat! She would not take it after that, she looked so snotty!:pfft: lol. Does your pup get these infamous Yorkie mood swings, too? |
Yeah, Uni does the sneeze thing when I know she is annoyed or frustrated, basically telling me "fffff" you! LOL She been doing it quite often. |
One of my two can often have "attitude" which we find so amusing. With Raggs if we make him wait too long for cheese treat by telling him to sit or something he refuses to take the treat when eventually offered. We then place it on the floor in front of him so he pushes it with his nose then walks off leaving it there. Ruby just loves him doing that because she wastes no time in helping him out and eats it for him and Raggs just sits glaring at her.....lol |
Oscar has the cheek to growl at me,when i get him off the dinning room table and when he realizes Ive won,he jumps on my bed, goes under the covers and sulks...He willl only come out if i bribe him with a treat. |
Ohhhhh Yeah.... It is just occassional, but Riley will sometimes to the sneeze/head forward thing and kick his back feet. |
Attitude? What's that? :) Levi is the sassiest little doesn't have a bad/grumpy attitude at all - he is just sassy. I love it! |
Oh yes, Rosie can have an attitude. And boy can she show it. If she is mad at you, then you will know it! She is really good at "ignoring" you if you don't do to please her! :) Boy, don't know where she gets it from! |
Callie does when she gets made she wont look at me no matter how many times i say her name and she wont kiss me either. When she is mad or not getting attention she really can throw a fit she will throw her toys around (mostly the bigger ones), she throws her bones, dumps the little basket i keep her bones in, drags and throws her pillow around. |
All four of mine have attitude. And all different. Riley pouts. Lexi gets in my face or barks. Lily is really cute she will stare at me and if I don't pay attention she starts with a whine then a low bark and if I still ignore her a loud bark. So darn cute. And Maddi is my growler.. Ha ha they make me so happy...... |
Oh definately!! Bevo thinks he has to be the center of my attention at all times. And if not, he will turn his head and not look at me! Or he does the sneeze thing too! I LOVE his personality! |

They are so funny! |
My 4 are all diff too. Rubyboy growls, or whines, then shows his teeth in a smile. Gracie grumbles under her breath, then goes off to pout. Abba barks and stomps. Ginny jumps, spins and barks. All this takes place in front of the pantry door where the treats are kept, when Daddy gets home. |
Sugar TOTALLY has an attitude! When I'm leaving for work in the morning she REFUSES to kiss me. She won't even LOOK at me  Turns her little neck until it wants to break so she won't be tempted to kiss me (because she really can't help but kiss me if she is actually looking at me :p) If I try to offer her a treat (or WORSE: a shop owner is trying to be nice and offers her something) that she doesn't like, she will take the end of her tongue and FLICK it off from my hand onto the floor  :sidesplt: What a little brat:rolleyes:......I love it  |

Yes! The brat had a layover in Chicago today on the train back from his friend's house in Wisconsin, so he decided to go strolling the city by himself. I told him to be careful, stick to the main streets, stay alert and look out for pickpockets and stuff. "Mum, I may be YOUR baby, but I'm not a baby. Chill!" was the response I got. Talk about attitude.... Oh! You meant furbaby...lol |

I usually warn them ahead of time that she won't take it. Usually they laugh at her reaction ~~ usually ;):D |

If I'm laughing at Gizmo, and he knows I am, or if I'm making fun of him, he'll usually run up onto my chest and put his paw on my lips as if to say "stop it!" If he really has an attitude going, and this is usually when I'm ignoring him, he'll right up to me, nibble my nose or ear and then dart back away and "turn his back on me". Yeah, he's a full terrier brat. |

Ha ha!! Rosie does that too. She will sniff it and turn her head like "I am not eating that!" Lol. I have to tell the bank to not give me the treats because my dog will not eat them any way!! :) |
of course don't all DIVA females get those little tudes??? mine has her moments where she will just bark her fool head off at me with her bad girl attitude. haha i LOVE every minute of it too :D |

Uni is SO pissed when we leave her alone and GOD FORBID if we come back with bags and there's nothing in there for "the boss". She'll be in her bed, and give us this look like, Oh it's you guys. pffffft. Buuut, if we come back and have some bags, she's all wags, and checks the bags, looking for what's for her. If there's nothing for her, she will settle on what is small enough her her to carry. If there's still nothing, then we get the pffft sneeze again, and off she pouts to her bed. Uni does get offered generic non-descript most likely icky at best dog biscuits when we go through the drive thru at Chick-fil-a, they always try to give her one, and we say Oh no she's really picky! LOL. Uni won't even waste her time sniffing it. |
Oh, we have one of her beds up on the counter at the shop. She has her various toys and chews up in there. When she's so inclined, she will toss her toy or chew on the floor (purposely) and then look at us like, "Slave! Toy! Pick up!" If we ignore her, she will do the infamous pffft! Which means "F-ing slave! Pick up toy!" and then I proceed to pick up said toy. |
I love this thread. :p Turning up noses at treats offered by shop owners is sooo embarrassing (although it can be a positive when I don't want my guys to eat what is being offered). Adds to the bad rep that Yorkies have with some people. |
While training Teddie I learned he had a yorkie-tude. Little booger would scratch the door to be let in when he didn't feel like trying to potty. If I reached down and told him no he would bat at me with his paw as if to say "stop, leave me alone." If I am sitting and doing computer work and not giving his highness attention, he will jump up on the couch and stare at me and make this little grumble noise until I look. He's also a little snot when it comes to attention. He will put his front paws on my lap and does this tap-tap-tap on my legs with his paw to get attention. He makes me laugh...he's got such a unique way of expressing himself. My family thinks we are nuts. :p |
