The outer flap goes up but not the actual mesh. Here are some pictures. Maybe it will help explain it.

Ahh thank you! I looked all over online to try to find a picture that showed the mesh sides up close.

No. There is no way for him to stick his head out unless you partially unzip the top of the purse and he is tall enough to pop his head through (which I wouldn't recommend, because is puts alot of stress on the zipper and the zippers are not fantastic quality.) It's definately a concealment purse to sneak pups in places. But the front & back panels can be rolled up to reveal mesh so he can look out and it gives better ventilation.

That is exactly what I use mine for. Rosie goes to the mall with me all the time. No one knows she is in there!! :D

You may be surprised how he would act in the KB. Rosie gets in and never makes one sound. Don't move much either. I have taken her into lots of places and have not had any problems at all!! I did leave it out and let her play around it at home first. Then put in a toy. It has just worked out for us!

Cece Kent has a carrier, Nantucket, that has mesh at one end & peek out at other. Worked great for my last yorkie cos she was smaller than ZoE.

I love the Nantucket. Slight problem is that it's $400.00 :eek:
My huband would have a heartattack.

Cute conceal carriers, but out of my budget lol

Maybe I can save X amount a paycheck and maybe when they are obsolete I can buy one, haha.

My Fav. is the Alex in Gunmetal. It's super awesome! I have that one in small, the black alex in large and then a london in brown/pink. Yea, I got carried away. Anywho, my 7 pd baby fits well in all of them. In the large Alex though I can fit her and my 6 pounder :-). In the other two I can only take one at a time. The London has even comfortably held my 13 pound shih tzu! I LOVE these carriers!

yikes! It's been a few years, but I'm sure I only paid about $275ish for it ...price of a couple of KBs...but it's real leather so it counts as a "wardrobe investment" :D
