when? At what age do yorkies stop growing... I ask because my yorkie is 6 months and he is 3.2 lbs .. some say yorkies reach their full size at 6 months... is he a teacup? |
Depends on your Yorkie's lines. Some mature earlier, others later. Your pup probably has some more growing to do, and may put on more weight with muscle development. My boys had their last growth spurt at 11 months of age and they both developed muscle in their second year. |
The standard Yorkie weight is between 3-7 lbs. So, he falls in between. Since there is no "teacup" standard I think your furbaby is a fine weight. Giz is 4.8 and he's only 6 1/2 months. |

Mine were pretty much full grown by 8 months or so- but they filled out some until they were about a year. |
