!!! I dont know what 2 do I don't know if im just freaking out or over reacting but i wanted to know if anyones yorkie has ever done this before. marley's tummy keeps makin this silly sound like the sound our tummys make when were hungry but she ate.She fell alseep before and than started making this werid sound in her throat im assuming but it was coughing or hacking or sneezing i got worried so i picked her up and she seemed to be "passed out" less than a min she came back to life and than ate some dry food and drank some water..moved around a little bit than went back to sleep. does anybody know what this can be?? should i be worried??!!!! i dont know what to think please help! |
hhhmmmmm....how old is she? The tummy sounds are normal. What I'm concerned about is the passed out thing. Was she asleep when you picked her up? |
could it be that he's just tired?he stood up just now and was licking me but is now falling asleep on my lap....im worried could i be over reacting...could it have been becuase he was sleeping and i woke him up so he was in a daze?? He just went to the bathroom and is walking around now he's going to lay down again but its way past his bed time |
he's gonna be 3 months dec3...yes he was sleeping for awhile when i picked him up |

My Babies get those tummy sounds when their tummys are up set. |
yes he eats very good....when i woke him up he went to the dish of dry food i leave out and ate everything in there....i give him dinner at 6 so i guess he was still hungry. So i shouldnt be worried it's just him sleeping and not wanting to get up yet...it really scared me he was so wet noodleish!!! i can go back to bed thou...he's good? |
The stomach growling...I have never heard this except when any of mine had upset stomachs or later had diahhrea. So, I would say that if he doesn't throw up or doesn't have diahhrea, then I wouldn't worry. |
Could it be the medicine is making his tummy make those noises? the pink bubble gum antibiotic the vet gave me to give him...its a childs anti. |
okay now it just happened again he was making like werid sound and when i went to go wake him up his eyes were moving strange...im nervous to go to sleep i dont want nething happening to him |
Do you have any nutrical you can give him? |
i give it to him 3 times a day...should i give him more? |
An antibiotic can irritate their stomachs, especially if it's given for quite awhile. By that I mean if they prescribe it once and the problem isn't taken care of and they prescribe it again. Their little tummies aren't made of steel, but sometimes vets forget that. I don't know if that's causing this problem, though. |
I just called my vet and he said he could be having a dream...what scared me was his paw started to shake a little but the vet said this is normal he wants me to bring him in tomarrow to do a nuero exam. what yorkies have seizures does there whole body shake? |
Your vet could be right and it could have just been a dream. With a seizure, the whole body will become very rigid. Eyes are usually very wide open and their whole body will shake. I saw it happen when one of mine got hit by a car...luckily the seizure was the only bad thing that came out of it. |
ok thank you ALL very much now i can go to sleep and not have to stare over Marley and keep waking her up. Now i have one more question...this is the vet i mentioned a couple days ago...the one who i personaly think he cares about the $ not the dog (last time he tried makin me buy this vitiams meanwhile i just bought the nutrical so i didnt need them and even he said that! so he wants me to bring himin tomarrow should i go to the other vet i was going to try or just go to him since he's seen marley before....??? |
What he may have been saying about the vitamins and nutrical is that generally nutrical isn't usually given everyday, while a vitamin is given everyday. I don't know what he was thinking, but perhaps that was it. |
can't help ya there! I have 3 vets that I use! :D |
he was telling me to give the nutrical 3 times a day and than after thats gone give him the outher vitiamins.is it bad to just swtich to another vet after i just called him and told him id be there tomarrow mourning? |
I'd just go with my gut feeling. He sounds as if he has a good idea of what to look for tomorrow. Can you be guaranteed the other one you wanted to "try" is as knowledgeable? I have found some of them don't know nearly as much as they should. |
My little yorkie makes all kinds of funny sounds when whe sleep. Sometimes I think something is wrong and wake her up just to find out that she must have been dreaming.:) |
Op...just wondering what you found out at your vet's office today. I hope Marley is feeling better.:) littlecricket-I see this was your first post. Welcome to YorkieTalk!:) |

Ha-ha, I've got to start looking at the dates on these posts:rolleyes: |
Could it have been a burp? Bandit will be three in 2 weeks and I've only heard him burp one time, but our puppy Nala has burped at least 50!! |
Hmmm...can someone please tell me what is OP? :) Thank you in advance! |
