Hair knot .....when??? My little girl is 12 weeks and does not have enough hair yet to tie it back. I was wondering when you started using bows and pulling hair back. The hair just above her eyes is still too short. Should I at least gather the hair behind it, just to get her used to the knot, or wait. She is not prissy at all and I think it will be a fight to get her to wear them:( Her hair just looks shaggy....:D |
Hmmm....I dont know the answer to this one as I just recently started pulling Bevos up!! Of course, he doesnt care what I do to him!! lol!! Hope someone has some answers for ya!!! |

I think the earlier you start the better if you want her to wear topknots daily when she's older. You can just gather some of the hair in the middle of her head further back for the time being and secure with a grooming band. Once she is used to that, you can try to introduce the bows. The shaggy puppy look can be awfully cute though! |

Knowing that I love the traditional long haired yorkie look, I put small latex bands in ZoE's hair from day one. The only purpose it served at that point was to get her used to the feeling of wearing bands/bows on the top of her head. It looked like a lil hair sprout on the top of her head :D. |

I started with bands & bows early & my dog still hates them, so good luck! =) |

I guess I'm lucky since neither of mine really had a problem with clothes and bows. The only thing Rory didn't like was a harness, and she'd keep rolling over trying to get it off. We taught her roll over pretty quickly though. :p |
Where do ya'll get the small scrunchies from? Do they sell them in Wal-Mart or Target? I've always used the latex bands in my boy's hair but would like using scrunchies as it would seem like there would be less breakage because mine are bad about rubbing their heads on the ground. |

I started putting jewels hair up at 3 months. I just put what hair I could up so she could get used to a topnot |
