Anyone else w/ multiples clean up some sort of poop or pee on a daily basis?! Grrrr! Sorry--just HAVE to VENT!!!! Many of you know I got my Reesie back in January and you all know it takes TIME for a yorkie, esp a pup to get the hang of POTTY TRAINING, but honestly this is not about potty training as we are on a STRICT SCHEDULE...!!! BUT!!!!----Snickers or Reesie, one of them POOPS or PEES in the house DAILY and it's driving me INSANE!!:eek: They are both outdoor trained, and I know if Reesie (my 7 month Biewer puppy) has an accident, it's usually my fault for not sticking to the schedule but for the past few weeks SNICKERS (my 3 yr old) has been peeing and pooping randomly when we aren't home...UGH!!!!!!! WE WERE DOING SO WELL FOR A LONG TIME!!!!!:(:(:( THINGS HAVE BEEN CRAZY lately and I'm blaming it on that!!:p:rolleyes::rolleyes: Hopefully once things settle down, we can all get back to ONLY pottying OUTSIDE!!!!!!! UGH!!!! THANKS FOR LISTENING!!! Even if no one replies, I feel better just getting it out!!!!! Viv |
I do have days like that. Glad you feel better. :) |
I totally understand about the venting!! I'm sure they will be back to normal! Maybe they are doing it to get attention? I had a maltese that would pee to get attention so I know how frustrating it is always cleaning after them! |
Some years ago I experienced a similar situation with my Cocker Spaniels. I had an adult dog and when I introduced a puppy my adult dog started toileting in the house. A behaviourist told me it was "attention seeking" because of the new puppy and suggested I give the adult more attention than I offer the puppy. Well I met it half way and gave them both the same attention making sure that if I fussed them I fussed the adult first. If I gave a treat then adult fist and so on. For me it worked but each case is different so perhaps you could try it out and hope. |
Thank you.... Shoot me now!!!! :( I know, it really could be worse but....GEEZ!!!!!!!! Viv |
PST! Welcome to the club. Chelsea, my biewer, pee's and poops all over the house. When we see her running out the room(s) with her head down, we know its her! |
I do, except I clean it twice a day, usually there is a poo on one of our pads in the morning and if I don;t get home on my lunch break I have one waiting for me when I get home. Oh, and the occasional right next to the pad pee. But we use washables because my dogs like to pee on pretty things.:p |
bwy39--- Thank you!! Snickers gets so much attention...he's fed 1st, greeted 1st, 1st in the door etc, 1st to get treats...everything!!!! My husband just left last week to work out of town and I think that he a TON to do with it!!!! NOT FUN!!! Snickers and my babe are BFF and I think he really misses him:(. My SIL has moved in for the time being so that is an adjustment as well. I just wish they would adjust FASTER!!! LOL...:( I love them to bits.... Thanks- Viv |
My guys are pad trained and we will go days without an accident. Then all of a sudden for about a day they poop either next to the pad or in another room. I have no clue why, but I usually just clean it up. They never poop when someone is watchin so I can never catch the guilty culprit. |
My little poodle passed away last March (he was the one pottying in the house, only when he was mad at me). Yesterday I took Mina (5month old yorkie) to play in the pool and while I was out the 13lb poodle left a LAKE on my floor. Thank goodness it was on tile! I know it was him cause I checked for wet on everyone, nevermind that he was hiding under a table and wouldnt come when called. The only reason it upset me was because I took everyone out before I went to the pool. |
Have you checked to see if your little man might have a wee infection, or worse still, bladder stones?. That was the reason my little bichon started weeing in the house. Better to get a check up if it has suddenly started. |
Yeah, we go through phases like that too. Things will go along smoothly for a while then BOOM - messes everywhere. Sometimes it's because one of them is not feeling well or has tummy issues; sometimes it's because I'm too busy and not home enough to maintain my schedule . . it's hard to say. Lucy will sneak downstairs to our basement family room when no one is looking. When I see her little nose trying to open that door - I KNOW - she has to go the bathroom and send her outside. But when I don't see her little nose trying to open the basement door - there is usually a surprise waiting for me! And I have cream color carpet so . . . . I feel your pain. |
my boys do it too....Never in front of me though!! The funniest thing Ive seen from our new little guy Mac is....I always treat them both when I see them potty and I say GOOD BOY in this dumb little voice. So when our 2 1/2 year old, Bevo goes potty and I tell him Good boy, the puppy, Mac will run to me all excited to get a treat! I cant make him understand he ISNT the good boy at that moment!! |
I know how you feel. I have a cat and a dog and some days when I get home from work, I have to clean it up from both ends :D:D:D. My cat may cough up a hairball and Brandi may decide she doesn't want to use the potty pad to poop. Oh the joys of being an animal lover. |
I here you. With 4 one or the other seems to have an accident daily. |
