Riley Now Has Full Run Of The Bedroom!! I left Riley out in my bedroom, this a.m. I made it really really comfy for him..... have the fan rotating/blowing back and forth like he likes.... put his litter box/peepee pad set-up in the corner. I don't think he knew what to think.... he still has his xpen with his bed and play area he can go to, if he wants.... or he can get up on my bed... He'll probably sleep most of the day, anyway... when I was getting my purse and keys to go out the front door.... I could hear him doing a deep type of sighing/sad whining sound.... :( I had to get out of there, immediately.... I know he will be fine...and he has soooooooo much more room. I'll be home at lunch to check on him.... and I'm sure he will be a little Extra Wigglie when he sees me!! :D |
Congratulations Riley! Wouldn't you love to set up a camera so that you can watch how he spends his time? :) |
Sounds like he will be comfy. I do think they sleep most of the time when we are gone. Ne will be so excited to see you at noon. |
Sounds like fun, I wish I was Riley doing nothing all day with all that room! Hope he stays out of trouble...;) |
I would Looooooove to have a puppy cam on him!! LOL!! I always put Animal Planet on for him.... Sometimes I think I should do Nickelodeon instead.... some of those shows on Animal Planet can be disturbing. LOL!!!!!!!! I picture him up on the plush bed with his snuggle puppy, "Buddy", right in front of the fan watching tv. Lunch time cannot get her soon enough!! I don't know who is going to be more excited!! LOL!! :) |
I know what you mean about Animal Planet, lol. We once left Max when he was a pup alone in his xpen for 30 minutes in front of the tv with AP playing. When we returned, he was shaking and scared to death because there was a show playing about dangerous, out of control dogs. We decided regular, no animal programming was more his thing. :) |
Awwww so sweet:) |
He will love having the whole room. And be so happy to see you at noon. |
Oooooh Riley is a big boy now! Way to go Riley. My girls are more the Investigation Discovery kind of gals. LOL. What ever you do, don't leave it on MTV. It will teach anything how not to behave. LOL... |
Sadie :)We started letting Sadie have run of the house a couple of months ago. It is wonderful! She usually is on the bed when I leave and shrinks down in the pillow thinking I am putting her in the pen. She hasn't destroyed anything and hasn't had an accident in quite awhile. I don't feel so bad about leaving her. When I go home for lunch, I can hear her jumping off the bed and running full force to greet me. |
I'm sure he'll just sleep away the day and then smother you with kisses when you get home |

I slinked in as quietly as possible and My lil Pumpkin was Exactly where I thought he would be...... up on the bed.... in front of the fan with "Buddy", his snuggle puppy. :D [And.... he was Extra Wigglie when he saw me...] :D |

Brandi does the same thing. She has had run of the house now for at least 4 months and she still shrinks down in the pillow every morning thinking that I am going to put her in the pen. But she is getting better, she is starting to actually go back to sleep even before I leave. |
