Foster Mom was kind enough to provide contact for yorkie rescue. They are contacting a rescue in Miami, FL, area to see what can be done, if anything.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but rescues do not purchase dogs.

Read her pedigree. Yes she's a biewer. This person did not import or breed her. She was purchased from a breeder in Georgia who is no longer involved in the breed. Also found her present owner's name...not one I am familiar with.

Emailed her and received a response within seconds...not asking a single question other than did I want to pick her up tonight. I didn't even ask anything other than a clearer copy of her pedigree.

How long has she owned the pup? Is she sticking to full price?

I didn't ask that question but since I know other dogs from the same kennel...she's probably had her since she was a puppy. The dog is 4 years old.

I never asked anything about her pricing...but can tell you the ad I found...completely different from these...said make me an offer.

If you think the rescue will not buy the pup, is there anything that can be done?

You're kidding me! Money or trades?! Do you exp yorkie folks think this is a mill?

I guess if the biewer is saved, others are still being bred?

I know of no specific issue the original breeder produced. As far as LP ...this is a very small dog and it's not unusual since they must jump up/down...to develop LP. This would not be a genetic issue and may never cause any problem.

A four year old dog which has also successfully whelped litters (from the sound of her ads)..does not have liver shunt.

She is just a small dog and it's not as unusual as this person would have you believe. They are like yorkies...and come in all sizes.

I am hoping the original breeder of this little girl will get this info and do what is right and take her back...
This person selling the girl, is telling so many different stories it is appalling, it is all about money, she doesn't give a freeking crap about this little girl, who is 5 years old according to the pedigree (june 06) but she tells me she is a GREAT breeder, and whoever has the money or Ipad first gets her to do with as they please..... *$*^&$&$(*#$( is all I can say :mad::mad::mad:

Ok, I can't afford her and I'm don't think I could physically take on another dog. I will never look at CL again....Uggh I could just kick myself. This is just another greeder not someone that's desperate to find a home for their dog for some other reason such as they are unable to care for her etc.

We CANNOT support BYBs! That is the bottom line isn't it? I'm trying to be rational here and not let my emotions get the best of me.

You've definitely got a point. I cannot believe she is also trading pups!

That's how I am. I can't look at the CL and Ebay classified dog ads...its just so sad how throwaway these precious little animals are to some people.

She was sold by the person who originally imported the dog. We do not have current contact information for that person.

I'm sorry that I suggested the $$ I didn't know it was against the rules...I also have no idea how rescues work or if they could help...I was just brainstorming and hoping to come up with something because I hate feeling useless in these situations.

Sorry I took so long to post, I had a meeeting with a professor...was anxiously waiting to get back into this.

I know we shouldn't be supporting byb but...I feel so bad for this poor little dog :( :(
