Congrats on your new baby.

Honestly that little one is too young to be away from mommy, the breeder should not have let him go until he was 12 weeks old minimum. I also got a very young baby before I knew better she was 4 1/2 weeks old (breeder told me she was 12 weeks old). I can share a few thing that I have learned along the way.
1. Keep Nutrical on hand incase his blood sugar starts to drop and he gets hypoglycemic.
2. When he is old enough and has had all his shots, try to socialize him as much as possible. Momma should be doing this for him for the next 6 weeks but since that is not a possibility you have to do this for him. My girl was not socialized properly, obviously, and it has caused some pretty dicey moments with other dogs.

How big is he?

The breeder in this case seems very sketchy to me and does not appear to be a reputable breeder at all. Did she offer a health guarantee of any kind?

Welcom and congrats. To answer your questions
1. How much should he be eating?
Make sure he has food available 24/7, these young babies need lots of nutrients and can get low blood sugar from not eating for just a few hours. I would get some nutri-cal from the pet store to give just incase of low blood sugar.
2. What type of food should I be feeding him
Make sure you are feeding puppy food and high quality. As a rule of thumb anything you can get at the grocery store or target or walmart is not a good food. I would ask your vet for specific reccomendations.
3. Should I give him milk, if so what kind?
Do not give milk, itll give him diarreah. Hes old enough to be weaned from the mothers milk but you may need to soften the food or feed wet for a while.
4. Any special care for him since he's away from his mom and only 6 weeks old?
Be extra gentle and loving. You are in charge of teaching him now so make sure he is learing not to bite fingers or hands, how rough to play, ect. He will need at least 3 sets of shots before he can go outside but you can start socializing him to normal house noises and things. You can invite people over to meet him but dont let him play or be overstimulated too much, I think 1-2 people for 1-2 hours would be max, and make sure your letting him rest. Puppies need lots of rest!

As you can see we all agree 6 wks is too young to take Yorkies from their Mother. That is over and done with, so lets move on to what needs done. 1. Do have on hand Nutrical.If the baby is not eating moist kibble very well use Nutrical as well. Let the baby lick it off your clean finger every 4 to 6 hours a small 1/2 a pea sized blob. You may have to scrap it onto his tiny teeth. Too much will cause diarrhea and so will regular milk. ( I do not give milk at all after the babies are weened) 2. Buy Human Baby food meat. I use 1/2 tea spoon mixed with about a teaspoon of soft moist kibble. This has to be thrown away if not eaten right away. I offer this every four hours, I leave dry kibbles down all the time. Keep your baby away from other dogs until your Vet says it is safe. Best wishes

I will say he can lap his own water and the breeder was feeding him Puppy Ultra Holistic Superfood by Nutro. Is this good or should I try something else?
