My brooklyn smell stinky 2nd day after bath Can someone tell me how to keep him smelling good and keep his coat shiny? |
Can't really help the smell good thing, but I use Ile of Dogs shampoo, and it seems to keep him smelling good for a week or two depending on how often he goes outside. For the coat I would recommend feeding either fish oil or fish... you have to start it slowly, but I swear by it. Harley gets 2 "icecubes" worth each day of Sardines and his coat is beautiful. I barely have to comb it. |
What shampoo are you using? I have noticed on Rosie the shampoo makes a HUGE difference. |
i have been using my shampoo and conditioner! (i know i am bad) but i read another thread and heard of minksheen so im waiting for it in the mail in a few days |

I would be concerned about a yorkie smelling bad two days after a bath. Several things could be going on. some type of ear infection, a yeast infection, or even an anal gland problem. This probably isn't about your shampoo. Odor is a symptom of something else going on, and I hope you take him to the vet and find the cause of the odor. A dog shouldn't need supplements if you are feeding a good food. It's better to find out the cause of the problem, instead of treating the symtoms. |
