Joel, I agree with all the other posters. There are many great breeders here in the USA. Start with YTCA.ORG, and call a few in your area. It has to be hard to make sure what you are getting if you can't see and touch the pup in person. Best of luck. |
Just two things to point out.. As people have said, if you decided to go with the foreign breeders, make sure you don't send the money until you have the dog (ie a service that holds it for you). I used to work in the horse industry and many scams were based through Western Union money transfers. I wouldn't trust that. Also has the breeder provided you with any information on importing the dog? Are there quarantine requirements to bring a dog into the US? (I'm in Canada so I don't know what your rules would be), make sure you know all of this before you make your decision, cause last thing you want is to bring a puppy over, and lose the bonding and training time because the dog is in quarantine.
