Ive been seeing lots of posts lately and I for ONE love this cut, its so easy to keep groomed. I think it looks AWESOME ON silky coats as well as cottony.;)

Taycie has it! I love it! Your little one looks darling:) This is one of the best cuts. Taycie has a modified coat, so it does mat easily. I just love seeing such tiny bodies!

I saw Taycies pic's YOU DID A GREAT JOB.
I love this cut too, I do take her to the groomers to get it really shaped but them for the next few months I am able to keep it up.
Laci is really cottony so I kind of need the groomer to get it perfect and then I can follow it for the next few hair cuts.

She is soo adorable!

Sophie has it, and we LOVE it!!! This will now be our year-round cut. No matting when she wears clothes and much cooler in the summer. I NEVER dreamed I'd want her cut...my dream was to always have a long, flowing haired yorkie. She was justs matting way too much, and we LOVE to wear clothes. So I decided to have her cut and if I didn't like it, I would let her grow back out. Needless to say, I love her MORE with this haircut. She looks so dainty and sweet.

Neo has it, too! He has long legs that look like sticks if his hair is cut short! This cut is the "best of both worlds" !:D

Zhoie has it too.....well almost ;). I couldn't get the chest and upper shoulders to look just like Joey's, so I had to improvise and give the Zhoie, LOL.

I actually works out better for us this way because we too, love to wear clothes and her chest and upper shoulders would rub and still tangle. This way, not more tangles.:D

Oh my Goodness she is just stunning!!!
I shave Laci's chest also because it gets caught in the velcro.
If you do that yourself , its amazing!!!

Thanks so much! I've had Zhoie from 12 wks and have always groomed her myself....all by trial & error, believe me! Zhoie was 2yrs in January.

I got really close to the Joey cut last summer and a wanted to give it a try again this year. Zhoie & I live by the rule.......it's hair, it's grow back, thank goodness!

You did a really great job too!:thumbup:

I just recently did my guys after Tena posted Zhoie's pics and gave some great tips on how to do the cut. I do the grooming on my guys too. This is going to be our year round cut too. My guys love their clothes and this is perfect for hot summers and wearing the warm clothing for winter. Great job on your little cutie pie:)

Everytime I see a thread w this haircut, I like it so much! All the pups look so cute in this cut! I have to work up the courage to do this - well, I'll have to wait, Gidget's undertheweather right now, but eventually...

Sophie Kate had it until her last groom, we had to cut her legs because she had shaved spot from the IV's (when she was ill). Sophie Kate is back to starting her Joey again.

Here is my Angel Baby. I gave her this cut just recently...a week before she had her babies. She loves it!! And so do I.

HERES MY LITTLE ONE
One of mine has that cut and I love it. She's the only that mats more easily thus the reason behind the cut. It's also very easy to maintain between trips to the groomer (assuming one has dog clippers!) Quick and easy comb out maintenance on legs, tail, and face. Plus when wearing clothes the long hair on the legs and tail gives the appearance that all their hair is long.

So cute and I LOVE that haircut! Lucy has something similar with her face (with the ears tipped) but the groomer doesn't like the fact that I keep her face short and her body hair long.

I think for summer I will give her a little bit shorter cut so she will be cooler and the ticks will be easier to find!!

Everybody is so talented. I really enjoy the pics. Marcie has the same type of cut. A little longer at the side. Her hair gets so matted that I really find this cut great for the summer.
