Hiya to my fellow Texans!!! I know we have previously mentioned a meet up, but let's put our heads together and figure it out!!! I would love to get together this summer! I figure the dfw area would be best??? I'm about 6 hours north and I think we have some that are about that far south!

What do y'all think???

I agree, time for a meet up! I vote for DFW area (mostly because thats where I am). I hope we can work something out! Molli and Chibi need some more yorkie friends :D

What type place are you thinking? I've never done a meetup, so don't really know what it involves.
I will say that after June 6th, I will be done with graduation, moving my daughter, etc., and will have time to help however I can. 'Til then I'm so busy and preoccupied! :rolleyes:

I was definately thinking late June or sometime in July! I have NO CLUE where to meet!! Maybe a nice park that has a doggy park...a place that would have shaded areas so we can mingle without dying in the Texas heat!! Ive never been to one...just thought it would be fun to be around other yorkies and their moms/dads that are as crazy about them as I am mine!!

I know of a place we can use possibly. My daughter own's a doggy day care in Arlington that has a large fenced in yard that she might let us use. There would be an in side and out side area. Just a suggestion.

There are a few dog parks around that is another option. June works great for me and I agree, after the 10th is just fine. I have graduations also that I have to go to and it would give us a little more time to get it organized.

Any other suggestions???

The Spice Boys, Basil and Caper are TX Dogs, and wish I could attend with them. Maybe someday.

Hey! Betty Boop and I are interested! We live in Waco, so it would be about a 2 hours drive. Not bad at all.

Tcarnagie....Your daughter's place sounds excellent! Even in June, the weather can get pretty warm in Texas, so A/C would be nice.

Wish you and the Spice boys could come. That would be a lot of fun.

I did call her and she is checking to see what dates in June she has booked up already so we know what to stay away from if we use her place. She will have some boarders there but we will let them out to play before all the little dogs come and then let them have one of the walled off rooms. She is booked around 4th of July so can't do anything around then. Will let you know when I hear back from her.

I will have 2 of the Miracle Babies there...Baby Grace and Faith Ann. If I still have Hope then she will come too. So some of you will get to meet them....well if you want to. LOL

Will post when I find out what she has open but if someone else has any other ideas please share.
