Yumi is her name
 
Hi all it's me Zantheia :p . I'm sorry I haven't written to post a picture of my baby but hopefully this weekend I will get to once I recruit someone from work to help me. So yes I finally got her on the 19th of October and she flew in from Washington and the day before my 10 year old was sent home sick with 104 temp that lasted for 3 days until his b-day on the 21st......whew :( . So my oldest baby (sick and all) helped me with the name and he got it from a cartoon so it's pronounced like (You-me) and I just love her to pieces. She was 3 months on the 3rd of this month and her ears were up when i got her and she is just a cutie. She races through the house like someone is totally chasing her and all the time trying to pick up whatever she can on her way. I have her trained on the potty pad and she actually goes on it all the time when she's not dragging it around the house :rolleyes:. Well I just wanted to drop you guys a line to let you know how she's doing and to say Hey.........

Thank you Thank you and I am enjoying her to death.....Lastnight she just wanted to lie on my stomach. It was actually with her head more on my stomach and her butt in my face :p . I have no ideal what that was about but she seemed to be comfortable. I'll post pics soon

Yes things are going great :) .....Oh yeh before I forget, can I ask a question? Last night I noticed that Yumi has dandruff really bad :confused: . I'm always in her face so it wasn't there before and she has only had 2 bath's since I have had her (almost a month). Any suggestions as to how to get rid of it I guess her skin is dry but I don't know how to cure it. I'm sure I should get a mosturizer but I don't know what's best for her and I don't want to irritate her skin more. She hasn't been scratching a lot so I'm a little stomped?

Perhaps all of the shampoo wasn't rinsed out thoroughly or perhaps you need to use a good conditioner???? :confused: You can use a good moisturizing oatmeal shampoo, also. I don't know. Just a few suggestions. :)

Thank you soo much I will try an oatmeal shampoo. The last time I gave her a bath was a week and a half ago and I sure hope I didn't leave extra in :( . Thanks a bunch for the help :)

A good rule is that when you think you've got all the shampoo rinsed out, rinse it again!! Shampoo tends to build up on dogs coats and causes their skin to dry out. Another thing is to watch what you're feeding her. What goes IN must come out. Corn based products are a real irritant to skin. IMO

Yeh I heard about the corn based products and I thought that I had her a good brand (Natural Choice- Lamb and Rice for puppies), but after reading on the site that this wasn't one of the best :eek: . I've heard about Chicken Soup so now I have to do some research and possibly switch. I just hate doing so much with the switching thing, I don't want to upset her tummy. Thanks for the advice :)

Had a rough night with romeo last night. :confused: The ONLY way he'd sleep was w/ my daughter Jessica in her bed. :animal36

Hey Sandy :) ,

I'm glad you found the site....it's really great. As you can see I don't get my mail until I get to work but I'm here. Being that he is in a new place he was probably feeling a little lonely. I'm glad he finally got some rest.....I'm sure you were happy with that :eek: . Yumi is doing well,jumping all over the place as usual (mainly me) :p . She has such a personaily and you will see Romeo will get his own too he is just feeling around right now. See you probably later on today!!!

I just wanted to say hi and merry xmas. :D How's yumi? You didn't reply to my last email or call me back... :( so I figured I would leave you a message on here. Are you mad at me? Did I do something to get the cold shoulder? :confused: Anyway, wanted to possibly see if you and I and the dogs and have a play date. I'm dying to see Yumi again. Well take care.
