How much did ur baby weigh at 12w, 16w and today? I was just curious as to what others growth rates were. Pita seems to be growing at a superior rate at 12w she was 2.6lbs and now at 16 weeks she is 5lbs!!! She has almost doubled in weight in a month and is not overweight by any means. |
Belle was about 2lbs at 10 wks, 3lb 8oz at 16 wks, and 4lbs at 20 wks. On May 1st she turned 6 months old and is between 4 1/2 and 5lbs now. You might just have a bigger yorkie - more to love! |
Jackson was 6lbs at 12 weeks and by around 17 weeks he was 8.6lbs! By 6 months old, he was 12.5lbs and stayed there until about a year and now at 2.5yrs old he is 16lbs. :) |

Bella...8 weeks 2.5 lbs, 12 weeks 3.5 lbs, 16 weeks 4 lbs...1 year 8.6 lbs and now she is 9.9 lbs and will be 3 yrs old Aug 24. Harley...8 weeks 2.2 lbs, 12 weeks 2.9 lbs, 16 weeks 3.2 lbs, he is 8 mos old now and is 4.5 lbs. Hepburn weighed: 12 weeks: 1lb 2oz 16 weeks: 1lb 9oz 20 weeks: 1lb 12oz 1 year: 3lb 2oz 18 months (as of tomorrow): 4 pounds almost exactly (that was our goal for 1 year, but it took him a bit longer. He did have a growth spurt about 3 months ago and gained most of the last half a pound during that, but also got a bit taller) |
Ziva grew bigger than I ever expected, she is rather fine boned so her weight is surprising. 12 wk- 2.75 lb 16 wk- 4.0 lb 1 year- 6 lb 2year- 7 lb |
Prince was 3/4 of a pound at 12 weeks, he stayed tiny and only reached 3 pounds when he was well over 3 years old. Theo was 1.1 pound at 14 weeks and he too was a slow grower and was 4 pounds when he passed at 7 years old pixie compared to my boys was a little pork chop at 4 weeks old (this is when I got her and I was told she was 12 weeks old) she was 1.5 pounds at 4 1/2 weeks and now at 9 she is 10 1/2 pounds Romeo was 1/2 pound at 12 weeks and when he passed at 2 1/2 years old he was 2 pounds. I don't know if I need a new scale or what, it has always been dead on, 2 days in a row she weighed 5lbs and this morning she weighed 4.4lbs...she's going to the vet tomorrow to get vaccinations:sad: so we shall see her true weight!:p |

Is my Yorkie Bella having an early growth spurt at six weeks she was 1lb10oz at ten weeks she was 2lb and1oz and know at 14 weeks shes 3pounds 3oz what does this mean? has this happen to any of you're Yorkie please help I don't know what to think am I over feeding her, Thanks:confused: |
Gidget was 2lb 3oz at 12weeks and 2lb 12oz at 16weeks. She will be 2 in August and weighs 3 3/4 lbs full grown. |
Bella's weight Thank you but they say all yorkies do not go by the rules my bella is very small her legs are short and I look at her and see a small stuff toy, do you think she will stop with all this weight problem, her vet has not said any thing to me about her being overweight, only the Breeder has talked to me and the only thing he said was that the puppies take after thier Dad whos 3.8 pounds but what about her mom she is 5.5 pounds do you think she will be big?:aimeeyork |
hi i have a morkie and he was about 2lbs at 8wk and he is now at 15wk he weight over 5 1/2 lbs. i thought that was a lot. i was told by the breeder that he should be between 8lbs or 9lbs at full growth, so we will see when the time comes. gayle - trinidad, ca |
How big will my Bella get? She was 1.10oz at six weeks she was 2.1oz at ten weeks and now she is 3.3oz at fourteen weeks That means that she has been gaining a pound every four weeks or so has this happen to any yorkie out there I know she is full Breed I have her AKC papers to know it but I have never heard of a small yorkie weighing so much that fast when will she stop gaining all this weight,if someone gone through this please let me know,Love her anyway:):):) but the breeder said she would be five pounds did he lie? Her parents were small. |

Cupcake was 1 lb 20 oz at 8 weeks when I brought her home. At 12 weeks she weighed 2 lbs 10 oz. Now at 15 weeks she is 3 lbs 8 oz. Her mom is 4 1/2 lbs and her daddy weighed a little over 5 lbs. I have no idea what her final weight well be. Any ideas ? And when can I consider her full grown ? |
I got Rhia when she was around 16w, so I'm not sure of her previous weights. She weighed around 4.5lb when I got her. She is now 3 years old and weighs 7lbs. She was around 5lbs most of the last couple years, but seems she had a bit of a growth spurt, which the vet ok'd since she's always been lean. |

Well, Pita went to the vet on friday and she weighed 4.5lbs so a bit less than I thought. The vet said that she was perfectly proportional so not to worry. I guess she went through a pretty early growth spurt, lol. |
