I have a MONKEY! :D Chloe has turned into a Monkey. Lately she will climb on ANYTHING! I find her on the kitchen table, on window sills, on TOP of crates. I have to gate of almost all the rooms in the house because I am afraid she is going to get hurt. I wish she didnt have LP or I would totally have this little monkey in agility. Anyone else have a monkey? |
I love it! That is what we call my male (3 yrs). His real name is Bentley but we started calling him Monkey when he was about 6 months old and that is now all he answers to. I couldn't figure out how he was jumping out of his pen when I left the room. So I put up a camera and we caught him scaling up the slide like a kid on a rock wall. It was CRAZY! |
LOL!!! My little Cricket used to climb up onto the back of a couch or loveseat, but your little climbers have her beat!!! Never saw one climb that much. |
I def think Princess is a freakishly small, hairy and sweet monkey!:D I can blink & Princess might be on the end tables, coffee tables, knocking stuff off the window ledge that's like 2.5' high...she is crazy! She even managed to climb those storage bins, three high in my closet, to get to her Easter basket! They don't have much of a ledge so I have no idea how that happened! See my sig: Spaz! lol, that sums her up!:panic: |
Zoe's not so much a monkey but man oh man, she's got HOPS! She's such a bitty thing and just flies up onto stuff. We do want to put her in agility; I think she'd love it and we hope it will be a good "empty nester" activity for my hubby and I. |
Tibbe is a total monkey and has no idea of the laws of gravity or height. He has very little to no judgment when he hears or sees something he thinks needs his emergency attention. I think he would jump off the kitchen counter to go after something that he saw as prey as he seems to give no thought before acting when his prey drive is engaged. He just acts and never thinks. I've seen him bound out of the window sill that the top back of the couch edges against, slightly bounch on the couch and land 4 feet from it out in the den floor, completely sailing over his doggie steps like he is an Italian Greyhound or something. He's wreckless and he can be gone half-way across the room or back yard faster than I can even blink. When he is coming to cuddle with me or get into his favorite sleeping position on the couch pillow during the day, he scampers right on the outer edge of the couch and scares me silly. He is definitely a monkey. During the day I would almost keep him in a safety helmut and elbow and knee pads if I could! That might help my poor nerves a little big. |
1 Attachment(s) Max is definitely my monkey. His favorite place is the back of the couch, but I can find him on nightstands, coffee tables, and on top of his crate. His new thing is to get on the coffee table, get the tv remote and then bring that onto the back of the couch to chew! I posted this photo a couple of weeks ago. I left him alone for 5 minutes and this is what I found: Attachment 344323 |
Yeah and I love when she is being one. But her monkey-ness has gotten her into extreme physical trouble, so the days of letting her do it may be over. She loves to climb on the backs of furniture, onto the end table, etc. Runs through here like a wild pup. Slips down when trying to jump in a weird position and tries to hang on by a thread. lol. |
Alice LOVES the back of the couch too, she climbs all over the place. We don't call her monkey though - my dh affectionatly calls her the "little mountain goat" |
LOL! Yes, Jackson is also a monkey. He climbs and jumps on everything! |
Yes. Levi is a wild little monkey man. He climbs on everything and jumps ridiculously high and is totally fearless. He walks on the back of the couch like a balance beam, and looks at me for approval, like he is so proud of himself. Funny little monkey. |
