Bevo is potty pad trained, but we still treat him EVERY time we see him go potty (hes 2 1/2), so hes gotten to where he will go to his pad and stare at you. I will tell him, ok, I see you...then he will go and come racing over to get his treat. Little Mac (11 weeks tomorrow) has picked up on this and comes running to get a treat now too! Sooo cute!! |
maddie will wait till i sit down and she will stand with her front legs perched on my lap if im on the couch, and just :Puppy2:stare at me---i say is there something u need? and she will cock her head to one side and stretch her neck out and look at me with a harder stare . i say potty? or outside? and she goes nuts:elephant::bananna::drool::dogwalk: an bounces all over the place till i take her out. if im up and walk by the door she will run over to the door and bounch up against it. |
Troy does a potty dance. Usually he's sleeping and will get up, do some spinning and excitedness until I get up and let him out. |
Patches goes to door and lays or sets and if I do not act as fast as he thinks I should he barks |
When we are in bed, Teddy will start pacing back and forth. Indoors sometimes he forgets that he can use the pee pad and I'll see him walk around his play pen and sit down...and he'll do it again. Yesterday, for kicks I pointed at the pee pad and said go potty! AND HE WENT! |
Dahlia is 4 months and is just about fully potty trained.. only maybe one accident a week now... she is bell trained.. she will go to the back door and ring her bell.. if we are near by the door she will usually just go by the door and look at us until we ask her if she "needs to go out" she's a good girl :) |
sammy "talks" to me... a play bow and little barks The other two really don't .. but they will use potty pads |
Taycie starts to climb all over me. She will eventually make it to my shoulders and start to growl. In the morning its LOTS of kisses:) |
Baxter rings a little cowbell that is tied to the door. The door is in the foyer - in a spot that we cannot see when we are upstairs. He "bats" the bell -- the harder and faster means the more urgent the job is to be. Our cat has also learned to ring the bell which is driving me crazy as she is NOT allowed outside. I find myself running downstairs for no reason as its the dang cat sitting there looking at me with that "look" of LET ME OUT TOO! hahaha |
