Anyways.. do yall think I should maybe be extending it a bit to get her to learn to *hold* it a bit longer? or keep what Im doing? I know their bladders are still little and she gets excited easily but that's never been an issue.. do yall think since shes getting a little older I need to extend it?
I can't remmber how we did it with Daphne--she was such an easy dog to train and mostly did it herself believe it or not! | She is still a baby..
You should change the routine when she is about 6 months or so.
All my dogs are not completely housebroken until a year.
Treat her like a real baby (human). When she wakes up, immediatly take her out. When she eats, take her out, and in between these times.
That's how I do it. I just remember when my kids would dirty their diapers.
I try to be one step ahead.
Good luck, be patient, I have found yorkies in general are hard to housbreak.
Now not all, but my 3 adults were. As well as alot of my friends. |
