My Dog Skip Makes me cry every time!
 
Just watched this movie again for the millionth time and I cry every time! I will admit I am a bawl baby and with the very orchestrated music playing in the background with a cute boy and dog I am a mess!

Just ordered the book from Amazon for a penny. I bet I cry through the entire book too!

Aw I remember seeing that when it first came out..I was probably only like 10 but I know I cried! I haven't seen it since then but I'm still a sucker for sappy dog movies! I bet I'd cry. :D

Me too Marley and Me was a real killer for me, I cried all the way home, into the house and hubby said "what's wrong I thought you went to the movies". I even cried myself to sleep that night and can't bear to read the book> LOLOLOL:D

Ahhhh, me too! I ALWAYS cry. Every time Marley & Me is on, I tell myself "don't watch it, don't watch it" and then I ALWAYS end up watching anyways and bawling my eyes out.

You seen Hachi yet? With Richard Gere? THAT movie had be absolutely bawling.

I don't think I've watched a sad dog movie since I was young and watched K9 Cop...even though it wasn't so tragic I remember crying my eyes out at my grandparents. Now I'm too scared to have a repeat performance, lol.:rolleyes:

Was that the one with James Belushi and the German Shepherd? If so, I cried in that, too, lol.

Yep it is! I haven't seen Hachi yet but I think I might just watch it. I lucked out and didn't have to work today! Horray! So I might just watch that tonight. Might also stop and grab a box of new Kleenex seeing how I am going through it rather quickly. LOL

I'm still grieving the loss of my Molly, so I am afraid I can't watch any of them just yet....but I LOVE stories like that and love my pets!

I watched My Dog Skip about 2 weeks ago on Netflix. I only watch movies like this when DH isn't around--he's more of an action-flick guy. He came home 5 minutes before the end of the movie and was crying like a baby when it finished (as was I).:(

I also watched if off Netflix and have streamed it over and over. If I catch the ending I am a bawling mess... especially after he goes to school and Skip is trying to get on the bed.. all I have to do is see that part and I am done for!

Now you got me wanting to watch My Dog Skip.... lol. That movie even made my 7 year old brother cry. He was denying it, like "nu-uh! I wasn't crying!" but he definitely was, haha. My dad refuses to watch dog movies because he's such a softy but he doesn't wanna cry. He watched like half of Marley & Me and then he dissapeared from the room, he knew what was coming, and didn't even want to watch, haha.

I just finished Hachi, and I boy did that make me cry!! That is so cute about your brother. My dad is a softy too, he cries during hallmark commercials..hehehe.. and he would be crying through both these movies. Yay for youtube!

Does anyone remember the movie Napolean? About the little Golden Retriever puppy that gets lost in the jungle of Sydney, Australia? I used to love that movie SO much when I was a kid..I cried when I had to bring it back to the movie rental place! It's a great movie. I recommend it :)

To this day , I refuse to see Marley and Me cause I know the dog dies at the end..lol..And I dont want to be a blubbering idiot..haha...And the movie My dog Skip, I actually just saw it recently on t.v. and omgosh I had to go into another room after the ending..haha..Really good movie though.

I just saw Hachi for the first time not too long ago and can never watch that again! Never! I am not that tough and will not go through that again. Tibbe thought I was an idiot, I am sure, while that movie was on and for a long while afterward. I just kept hugging him and bawling - he would just snuggle in and lick my face and look at me like "what happened?!?!". He tried his best to comfort me. That show was just so sad just thinking of it right now is getting to me. I am an idiot where dogs are concerned.

Ya I was the same way! Cried and cried and couldn't stop for like an hour after it was over. I kept trying to hug Taycie and I also got the same response. She kept looking at me like what is wrong with you? I don't think I can watch that one again.
