Has any of your babies with LP ever not cleared jumping up a curb?

This happened to Pnut for the first time, and I am not sure if he just didnt clear it bc of his jump, or if it was from his LP. When he jumped up he didnt clear it and the curb caught him up and he feel on his side kinda and rolled, Kinda like when someone trips you and you fall down. I felt HORRIBLE and he looked stunned! I picked him up as fast as I could and hugged him and kissed him and told him he was ok, I carried him for a couple minutes till he wiggled and wanted down. He seemed to be ok, walking normal.

I had him on Cosequin and he was doing wonderful, but it was a pain to give it to him bc sometimes he didnt eat the cheese or wet food or yogurt when I mixed the pill in, and sometimes when he took the pill he would get an upset tummy. So they Vet put him on that S3, it has the same ingredents as Cosequin, but I am not seeing the same results.

I am not sure what to do :confused::confused:

Last summer Sammy had a little trouble jumping up on the stoop by my side door. Off we went to the vet, she said absolutely no jumping at all. I have to carry him up or down any steps (even just one). (He is grade one LP) Also he would not take the Dasuquin that the vet had him on. So the vet said to just get people glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM. I got it in the supermarket for one fourth of what I paid for med. at the vets. It's a caplet and I cut it into 1/4 and put it in his canned food and he eats it right up. Maybe you could try people Glucosamine/Chondroitin and hide it in something.

Hope Pnut is OK. They really scare us when they trip or get hurt. Good Luck!!!!!

Hmm ok send me a pic of what you get, I will def try it. Pnut has grade 3 and grade 2 both knees :( This was his first fall, I was so upset! I am going to limit his jumping thats for sure!!

I took a picture of the bottle and a few of the tablets to show you with my cell phone. I will try to put the pictures on here. Please bear with me I'm not good at this. If I can't do it, I'll ask one of my sons to do it for me.
